The chief financial officer position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. Principal accountabilities arePlanning1. Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives2. Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans3. Develop financial and tax strategies4. Manage the capital request and budgeting processes5. Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic directionOperations1. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team2. Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team3. Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments4. Managing credit facility for debtors and creditors5. Focus on outstanding and realization6. Day to day fund management for Operation and CAPEX7. Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced8. Oversee the company's transaction processing systems9. Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package10. Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions11. Liasoning with Govt. Dept./Official related to Accounts & Finance (e.g. Income Tax, Service Tax, ROC etc.)Risk Management1. Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile2. Construct and monitor reliable control systems3. Maintain appropriate insurance coverage on Asset & Employees4. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies5. Report risk issues to the audit committee of the Board of Directors/ Management6. Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendationsFunding1. Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts2. Arrange for debt and equity financing3. Invest funds (if required)Third Parties1. Participate in conference calls with the investment community2. Maintain banking relationships3. Represent the company with investment bankers and investorsFinancial Information1. Oversee the issuance of financial information2. Report financial results to the board of directors/Managemen.
Degree: CA (Chartered Accountant) | MBA/ PGDM

Additional Degree: B.Com. (Commerce)

Experience: 12-17
