Position OverviewThe Senior Director of Juniper India will be responsible for building and executing the India strategy for Service Provider Sales, Enterprise Sales, and India Partners, including all channel partnerships, on Juniper s way to achieving its vision India will play a key role in Juniper achieving its goal. In addition to direct interaction key Service Provider and Enterprise Accounts, Junipers go-to- market strategy depends heavily on partners who enable the business to scale and deliver on the significant growth objectives. The Senior Director will be the key architect and leader responsible for creating and delivering on these strategies across India. Position Responsibilities Significant experience as an Executive leader in India The ideal candidate will have significant Networking experience and a deep knowledge of technology growth and trends with specific insight into the India market. Significant experience and track-record in delivering growth and profitability Deep experience identifying, developing, and enhancing the sales channels and partners across high-tech industry Possesses an innovative and strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to turn personal vision into specific plans and successfully execute on those plans Has created and successfully executed a well-defined, world- class, partner/channel strategy, roadmap, and implementation plan for a high-tech company in India Has demonstrated experience influencing and implementing programs across a global matrix organization with dotted line influencing experience Is able to attract talent and motivate and mentor a large team Has demonstrated experience influencing and implementing programs across a global matrix organization with dotted line influencing experience Is experienced in motivating both external partners and internal sales resources to align on a winning strategy that delivers measurable results Demonstrates the Juniper WayDesired Skills and Experience A minimum of 20 years business experienceBachelors degree required; MBA preferredSolid knowledge of trends in the industry especially in Service Provider segment.Exceptional presentation skills, analytical skills and superior written and verbal communication skillsAn ability to establish effective relationships across all levels, including executive managementExperience working with financial indicators to measure business performance including P&L responsibility and accurately forecasting sources of cost, revenue and riskAn ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision makingProven ability negotiating business agreements, plus the ability to enhance existing and develop new business partnershipsAbility to work independently and in collaboration with a high level of success/achievementExtensive travel requiredLeadership CapabilitiesA true leader who is passionate about team quality and developmentHighly commercial and strategic outlook works with the team and head of APAC to develop a long-term vision for India and provides the impetus and direction for the achievement of strategic goalsMakes decisions in a proactive, timely way; is accountable for actions and not afraid to take tough decisionsIs flexible and adaptable and enjoys working in a entrepreneurial and innovative environmentEstablishes priorities with clear goals and responsibilities to get results from people and exceed expectationsHighly commercial and strategic outlookAble to work easily and build relationships in a global, matrix environmentTranslate global & theater business goals into clear performance plans for IndiaDesign and drives performance management processes that deliver results far exceeding expectationsAlign individual performance goals and measures systematically.
