'The Credit & Market Risk Department (CRM) is responsible for credit and market risk within Pershing s European Operating Entities. The core responsibility of the CRM is to continually enhance the Credit and Market Risk culture within Pershing. This is done by reviewing, monitoring and understanding its business, by being involved as an integral part of its development and by advising, assisting and implementing policies, controls and procedures to ensure the firm s credit and marker risk profile is appropriate and is in accordance with the firm s risk policy. An important element of the role is to identify items and to work with both, internal and external parties to having such items cleared or the risk mitigated. The role requires experience of all major product arears, understanding of equity and fixed income instruments and financial analysis. ' Provide quality risk reporting and analysis to management Reporting on credit and market risk exposures of the firm with its various counterparties Preparation of Annual/Interim Reviews of Clients, Market Maker and Agent Banks Implementing Credit & Market Risk Committee decisions and seeing each item through to conclusion Degree level, relevant professional examinations or recognised training in Credit & Market Risk received from a reputable Bank or brokerage firm. '1 year minimum. Credit analyst experience High developed communication skills, both written and verbal form, with a keen eye for detail. Developed analytical skills and highly numerate. Experienced credit analysis of Financial Institutions counterparties, i.e. small to large inter-dealer broker dealers, private wealth managers, stockbrokers, large international fund management groups Ability to work in a team, to tight deadlines and willing to embrace and implement a program of change '
