Required SkillsWe have been retained by a leading Media company to recruit a Customer Support engineer for their development centre in New Delhi, India.RESPONSIBILITIES1. Carry out mobile platform software technical support to customers from project kick-off to mass production2. Investigate SW issues identified by customers Identify root cause with the help of design teams Propose corrections3. Implement SW change requests agreed to adapt the platform to the customer needs4. Provide accurate English reporting on a regularly basis5. Keep up-to-date on platform knowledge and methodologiesREQUIREMENTSProfessional skills Strong expertise in embedded SW development or technical support on mobile platform >3 years working experienceTechnical skills Knowledge in embedded multimedia Audio and video codecs and players Multi-processor communication (ARM/DSP) Audio path configuration (audio filter/algorithm/feature) Multimedia/Audio HW (audio amplifier, image/vide processor, IIS/IIC/SPI, host interface, camera sensor) Familiar with RTOS. Familiar with ARM subsystem. Familiar with JTag and ETM debugging Familiar with Lauterbach Trace32 Knowledge of Clearcase, software configuration management toolInterpersonal skills Fluent in both written and spoken English Team player, self-driven Capable to stand pressure from customer and project Willing to travel and to support on site
Degree: M.Sc. (Science) | MCA/ PGDCA | ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering) | B.Sc. (Science) | BCA (Computer Application)

Experience: 3-8
