Finance Change works across the entire CFO division to ensure that we execute the strategic design and implementation of any major changes to our processes and systems.In partnership with our key stakeholders, we work to create cutting-edge business solutions using our deep functional expertise. We aim to deliver strategic initiatives using leading project management and business analysis as we pursue our goal of protecting and enhancing shareholder value through optimising the use of our financial resources.- In this role, the Business Analyst will be required to Work closely with the Global PC/ FA/IT teams and related CFO Change teams, and be involved in the execution of the Book of Work for CDH as a CFO Core component and involves requests coming from various programs/initiatives across CFO organization Use Business Analysis tools and techniques to capture and clearly articulate the as-is business processes, identify problems and inefficiencies and define business requirements for process improvements Manage requirements and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that requirements are delivered as specified, and change impact assessments can be made Communicate clearly with all stakeholders and develop and use understanding of business processes and related issues. Develop multiple solution options and convey the pros and cons to ensure clear understanding of impact across the organization Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for integration, functional, performance and user acceptance testing. Identify and escalate where appropriate project risks and issues associated to requirements gathering, analysis and design Design training and support documentation for new projects Ensure compliance with established guidelines for accurate and timely project delivery milestones Domain knowledge/ experience of Reference Data systems within investment banking that is, should have been associated with the finance division of an investment bank in some capacityChange experience in above is preferred, however BAU/ line experience with change exposure is also fineChange experience, should as be as a Business Analyst and not Project ManagerAs a business analyst or as an end user, experience of functional testing and willingness to be involved in functional testing in this role as wellA robust understanding of the various investment bank trading/banking products (equities, fixed income, repos, FX, OTC and exchange traded derivatives, loans, money markets etc.)Exposure to Client subject area concepts such as Counterparties, Legal entities, Portfolio Accounts etc.Understanding of book management and hierarchies for trade capture in investment banking set-upShould be strong at data analysis with tools such as Excel, SQL, MS-Access etc.Basic technical capabilities, that is ability to understand data flows, table structures and running SQLs plus ability to decode EUCs to some extentShould be articulate in writing and verbal communications and able to multi-task and deal effectively with multitude of stakeholders at junior and middle levelsAbility to work remotely, in different time zones and handle global interactions plus planning skills , cost consciousnessIdeally a post-graduation or graduation from a reputed institute in financial management/accountingAt least 5-7 years of quality experience in relevant domain as mentioned in 1 aboveWillingness to learn and experiment with new things
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
