Job Details

Responsible for developing and executing operational plans to best meet business goals. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operational processes and systems on an ongoing basis to drive continuous improvement.In Relation to Employees Managing Employee Provident Fund(EPF), work with EPFO to maintain all payments and filing, Employee claims & transfers etc. Managing ESIC and Ensure all employees are covered either through ESIC or Private health insurance, maintain filings and returns with respective authorities Handling compliance to all applicable labour laws including but not limited to Karnataka Shop and Establishment Act Catering to special needs of women employees in compliance with related regulatory framework including but not limited to Maternity Benefit Act, Sexual Harassment of Women At Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal Act) Manage Payroll with all applicable taxes like Income Tax, Professional Tax etc. Manage Filing and Returns of all Taxes Deducted with applicable authorities Creating an employee handbook and updating it regularly Review all Contractors & Employee contracts and communication to assess compliance with all regulatory laws Communicate with employees in regular basis to explain all benefits and rights under different acts and address grievances, conducting related seminars and training sessions Provide employees with all documentation e.g. Pay Slips, EPF UAN, Form 16A, Insurance Cards and Handle Claims and ReimbursementsCreate an atmosphere that engages and motivates the workforceCoordinate with outside consultants and vendors to ensure optimal work environmentIn Relation to companyWork with CA/Legal/Labour Counsel to ensure Company is registered under all Acts and Authorities like EPFO, ESIC, Shop & Establishment Act and has all required permissions and certificates and renewed as and when required Timely payment of taxes and filing of returns for TDS, Corporate Income Tax, Service Tax, Professional Tax Maintenance of Book of Accounts as per Indian Laws and Standards Preparation and Filing of Balance Sheet, P&L, Annual Report etc Key Functions & Roles of the Candidate Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all levels of our internal organization and vendor partners Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills Excellent executive presence, ability to drive adoption and credibility with senior leadership Able to develop creative solutions to complex problems and gain buy-in of colleagues across functions Excellent leadership skills to develop and motivate others; must demonstrate experience leading and developing both exempt and non-exempt team members Excellent planning and organizational skills Highly driven to achieve quick results Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary guidanceEducation and Experience 5-10 years in business experience, including a proven track record of performance in strategy and operations role. Bachelors degree in Business or a closely related field
Degree: CA (Chartered Accountant)
