As an Instructional Designer / E-learning Content Developer who will be responsible for building engaging e-learning courses for our innovative learning programs.This position is responsible for the design, development, coordination, implementation, assessment, and maintenance of high quality learning initiatives, including e-learning and blended solutions. The ideal candidate will be a proficient self-starter who takes ownership of his/her work.Job Description Analyze requirementsDevelop storyboards and classroom training materialDevelop Instructional Strategy and Micro-Design Document (MDD)Create simulations in various modesDesign course outlines and instructional strategyCoordinate with client SMEs, Graphic Designers, and ProgrammersPerform peer review of storyboards and simulationsCreate writing style guides and review checklistsCreating proposals, design documents and development guidelinesHave thorough knowledge of instructional design (ID) methodologies and follow the ID development and review cycleUnderstand modalities of learning and select/create appropriate learning solutions based on content, desired learning outcomes, and target audienceWorked with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and stakeholders to obtain exact content needed for course development as specified by learning and behaviour objectivesSolid understanding of SCORM standards to design training modules that can be successfully deployed on Learning Management System (LMS)IngenuityRequires proven knowledge in an area of specialty. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. SupervisionPerforms work under general supervision. ReportingUsually Reports to Director - CPD EducationBachelors degree with certification in E-Learning Instructional Design Experience3 to 6 Years of experience in designing and developing e-learning courses, including content outlines and detailed storyboards. CompetenciesA self-starter who owns the process of creating training materials and can work throughout the development process with minimal supervision.Detail-oriented but able to see the - big picture-Possesses the attitude to perform a wide range of functions, Is able to manage time effectively with minimal supervisionIs highly flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced dynamic environment displaying outstanding professionalismAble to write engaging eLearning content, blogs, and articles from scratch, with minimal editorial dependenciesStrong command over English, grammar, syntax, and style variationsStrong creative thinking skills with the ability to apply creative ideas to every deliverableStrong interpersonal and constructive communication skills with a high degree of collaborative, problem solving, and conflict resolution attributes.
