Interfaces with Infrastructure team members and Client Partners to identify, analyze and resolve inefficient processes or standardizations across systems. Identify and implement areas of improvement in architecture to implementations to support processes Identify and implement, in conjunction with team lead and EA team, areas for improvement within team with efficient and cutting edge administration tools Microsoft Exchange server side support tickets through our ticket queue system that have gone through our Help Desk support 1-3 tiers Support and administration of Microsoft Exchange, versions 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 Manage and troubleshoot Exchange environments. This includes, but is not limited to, message routing, high availability, Exchange level backups and disaster recovery. Knowledge and troubleshooting capability with multiple SMTP gateways and mail filtering solutions. Design and implement mobile messaging solutions from Active Sync device policies to Blackberry Enterprise Server. Continuous proactive maintenance, auditing, and monitoring of our customers Microsoft Exchange environments. Support and administration of Microsoft Lync 2010 and 2013. Following thorough Change Management processes and documentation Following thorough Root Cause Analysis processes and documentation After hours oncall weekly rotations throughout the team Business hours ticket queue owner and handling weekly rotation Working with other infrastructure teams as well as non-infrastructure teams throughout organization on tasks Server performance/capacity planning Troubleshooting supported end user application issues as it relates to Microsoft Exchange. Responsible for maintaining supported customer applications that may require modifications to work in a client server environment Responsible for all tuning and performance recommendations of the Microsoft Exchange systems Thorough environment documentation Leadership and Team Focus Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor. Remains on the forefront of emerging industry practices and technologies. Provides recommendations on changes and design enhancements to improve reliability, security, processes, and performance. Takes responsibility for meeting commitments; desire to succeed and has a history of meeting solutions by deadline. Grows professionally and personally; eager to acquire new knowledge while promoting Secure-24 s values and culture.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Computer Science/information Systems or equivalent 7+ years experience with Windows 2000 / 2003 / 2008 Servers 6-8 years experience in managing Microsoft Systems in a 24x7 environment 4-8years experience managing mid to enterprise Microsoft Environments. Specialization in Exchange. Microsoft Certification or equivalent preferred. Strong understanding of active directory and DNS. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Exchange versions 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013. Strong understanding of Microsoft Exchange high availability is preferred. Strong understanding and understanding of scripting using Exchange PowerShell. Utilize enterprise tools to manage, monitor and secure Exchange environments. Working knowledge of SAN, backup and VMware environments to maintain availability and recoverability of systems. Strong understanding of Microsoft Lync 2010 and 2013. Strong leadership skills to effectively mentor and lead junior level personnel Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of complex systems Strong understanding of architecture (Not an architect) Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organization skills to interact with customers to prioritize work, balance and lead complex projects Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
