To assist, develop and monitor the Operational Risk Management & Compliance activities to reduce Operational Risk and compliance standards are adhered to within the organization.Handle case investigations referred from various departments and provide Recommended Action to them.Review and process action wherever malpractice / fraud is proven and disciplinary action is to be initiated.Visits to branches, channel partners and locations across the country to check compliance with regulations and internal policies & procedures.To ensure reporting requirements (internal & external) are done as per stipulated timelines.To create an environment with zero tolerance for malpractices / fraud.To ensure suitable proactive and reactive Operational Risk Management procedures are developed and effective.Provide Operational Risk analytics & feedback to zonal and corporate functions including channel partners on frauds and other irregularities on an ongoing basis.Ensure that violation of regulatory & statutory requirements do not occur at the branches & zones.Ensure the best utilisation of expense budget to provide value through a mix of quality parameters and negotiations.Manage vendor relations including payments and vendor empanelment.Strict implementation of Code of Conduct by conducting investigations into referrals received and through sample checks.Ensure adequacy & accuracy of compliance certifications submitted by the zonal functions .Carrying out investigation and inspections independently.To ensure reporting requirements (internal & external) are done as per stipulated timelines.To ensure proper tracking of cases and MIS to ensure TAT for risk investigations.Deliver sensitization trainings on Risk & Compliance are delivered to all branches and other locations.Ensure risk investigations are conducted and closed within time frame and proper value is provided to the concerned departments.Provide trends relating to Risk issues to various departments.Ensure proper skills and knowledge development to achieve objectives and responsibilities.To develop a risk & compliance culture in the branches & locations being managed.High analytical & logic skills.Good communication skills.IntegrityAbility to work under pressure.Experience in conducting related activities or have been working in an Audit, Risk Management or Compliance function earlier (at least 2 years).First preference for candidates having related experience in the Life Insurance industry. Alternative preference for candidates having related experience in the Banking/ Financial Services / Telecom industry.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM

Additional Degree: BA (Arts) | B.Com. (Commerce) | B.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | B.Plan. (Planning) | B.Sc. (Science) | BBA/ BBM/ BBS | BCA (Computer Application) | Diploma-Other Diploma | B.Ed. (Education) | BHM (Hotel Management)
