Monitor Experion Client SR Queues of incoming support requestsTake ownership of customer SR (Service Request)Provide SR resolutionDetermine problem Review possible solutionsDesign fix or work-around Provide customer and internal correspondence and status updatesSubmit PAR (Product Anomaly Request) to Development Engineering when appropriate Publish Solution for reuse/future SRsDeploy fix Confirm problem resolvedLog time/activities to SR in Siebel Customer Relationship Management System Provide Notes and Attachments in Siebel to the SRInstall TAC Lab hardware and software to provide customer support infrastructure Provide stand-by or AHE (After Hours Emergency) support per team schedule/rotationDevelop quotes for TAC-provided customization Develop Software for customization orders received by TACMaintain Test Bed and Inventory per contractual obligations where TAC is specified Provide limited hardware and software testing of specialized customer configurationsProvide Project Management skills for complex problems Manage multiple tasksGather required troubleshooting information Host assignment/status/action meetingsCommunicate with internal and customer representatives Coordinate all technical activities through resolution of customer problemsInterface with Development Engineering for product-specific issues Travel to customer sites as appropriate to conduct troubleshooting and repairsTravel to customer sites as appropriate to deliver customization or to support system startups, upgrades, expansions, and similar work Provide Tech Leader vacation relief and workload supportProcedural Discipline Follow established TAC proceduresDevelop diagnostic techniques and decision trees Follow all safety protocolsCoordinate and liaison with adjacent organizations, build cross-functional task teams Recognize and prioritize tasksProactive approach TeamworkQualificationsSkillsExpertise on Experion Client Server and other sub functions Experience in Plant Operations/ process design or working experience in central engineering.Post graduation in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or related specializations would be an added advantage. Exposure to basic or detailed Engineering work would be an added advantage.Good verbal and written communication skills. Innovative mindset.Good knowledge in Windows operating systems and basic knowledge about networking is expected. MS office package and good excel knowledge is a must.Knowledge about software development life cycle will be a plus. He/ She should have good analytical and trouble shooting skills.
