DescriptionPrincipal AccountabilitiesAccountabilitySupporting ActionsEnsure implementation of the theoverall annual plan(volume/revenue) for all VAP. Achieve NSR across all units/regions to meet profitability numbers and ensure that our contribution are maximized compared to Domestic sales.1)Break down annual number into monthly numbers (seasonality based),regions based on potential and share it with the Sales team and motivate them & work closely with them to achieve monthly targets.2) Prepare & provide Region wise/Grade wise plan on quarterly basis and sharewith VAP Plant Head across all units.3) Monitor the Order position on regular basis and take proactive actions to bridge the gap.4)Regular visit/interaction with key customers in each Regions and maintain contacts at various level with customers organization.5)Monthly meeting with CMO/BD team for joint review on development project, previous months status , plant specific actions for Sales to convert new project into business and review the BD plan for next month.6)Prepare for monthly review meeting with President - Spec.Chem & CMO plus preparing MIS for the meeting.7) Constantly monitor the currency fluctuation and than prioritize shipments to the regions to maximize NSR where possible.Geographic Expansion Assist Export Manager in expanding in regions countries where we have limited presence.Market Mapping of untapped countries/region to gather inputs that will help formulate a plan for growth.Put in place a Targeted Growth plan & resource plan(if required) to penetrate the market.Select some key customers who are main business drivers and have plans to deal directly with them.Identify & select Distributors and have them manage our risk and grow the business.As focus in Geo Expansion area is BD, have right people aligned to achieve the goals.Understand the local rules, legal framework, culture etc and provide direction to your team to ensure compliance.Assist in carrying out the Distributor & Liaison agent management1) Identify markets/regions where we need focused Distributor (eg Paper)2)Go thru standard Distributor selection process to identify right channel partners.3)Have agreements in place for our existing and new Distributors.4)For existing Distributor, complete the previous year performance review andagree on Targets that cover all aspects of business.6)Review of Distributor performance with team.7)Regularly review credit performance, level, limits etcReceivable management Ensure on time collection and keep minimum overdue.. 1)Set ugahi targets by each regions/sales team for the month at the beginningof the month.2). Monitor and review the receivables collection with the team on daily basis.3) Weekly Ugahi review with CMO.4) Send communication Ugahi statement to all customer in the beginning of the month.5)Visit customers with sales team and if needed with higher managementfor critical Ugahi. Export incentives & benefits Ensure the implementation of streamline/Initiate process to help avail all Incentives & benefits. Understand & document various Export benefits that are announced by GOI. Share with the team and ensure that everyone understands the details. Review current SOP, make changes if needed and put a standard SOP across all Exporting Units. Outline the scope ,timeline , R&R for each and every individual in Export. Ensure that it is clearly understood by all team members. Keep a tab on all the incentives we can avail and check whether same has been filed with relevant Govt authorities.Standardize the Logistics (CHA, shipping, freights etc) , Documentation process across all units to leverage our Export volumes to gain efficiency & cost optimization Identify location where we have regular Export and provide inputs to Logistic to get good Freight rates over long term. Together with logistics work on having 2-3 CHA across all units that can provide services on door to door basis . Have system in place to have proper documentation, filing both for Pre-shipment and Post-shipment process. Put a system in place that will keep customers informed about Order & dispatch status. Also ensure that they get all the documents On TIME including COA.Safety & Legal Compliance Ensure that whatever work you do you strictly adhere & follow our Safety norms and practise.All your business should be compliant to legal norms and as per our companies Ethical Work practises.Understand all our SOP and ensure full implementation of SOP by your team.MIS/Monthly reviews/ Use of system & process.businessPrepare monthly MIS and presentation for review meteing.Have all documents like agreements,approvals etc documented & signed withinthe specified timelines.Encourage use of SAP within your team.Assist Export Head in Promotions & awarenessBrand protection & promotion Ensure our brands are registered and fully coverall the Countries where we do business.Leverage print media (journals,magazines etc) to promote brands.Participate in Seminars, Exhibition to create awareness about our Product offereings and brands.Collaborate with educational institutes for doing development works plus creating awareness amongst students.Customer complaints handling & resolution in coordination with Customer Tech Services. Collection of complaint data for advise to QC, production or packaging for review. Assist in Investigation on possible root causes. Review of investigation report & submission to buyer with possible root causes & corrective measures proposed & taken.
