Job Details

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Field Operations Manager to support our operations in the UAE focusing on the field operations for quantitative research.
You would have experience in managing field operations in a similar sized organization and would understand the importance of building strong network of field operators, credible vendors and importance of quality control. You would adhere to high personal ethics standard and pride in the quality of data produced by the field team.
Overall Objective
1. To interview, recruit, train and maintain a professional team of interviewers for F2F interviews
2. To provide costs and time estimates to the research team for new projects
3. To collaborate with the research delivery and client servicing teams to deliver projects smoothly at optimal cost and timeline
 
Key Responsibilities
Team management
 Recruit and maintain a team of interviewers & supervisors to cover the UAE. Expand the team of interviewers as needed
 Create training material and assessment schemes in order to certify the interviewers
 Prepare a list of interviewers with their demographic characteristics (languages spoken, etc.) and experience.
 Define and organise the supervision and accompaniament process for quality checks during fieldwork
 Compute project budgets and payments to the interviewers
 Identify and manage external vendors for f2f or CATI for projects in the UAE or other GCC countries 
 
Cost & time estimations
 Provide cost and timeline estimations to client servicing and research teams for face-to-face projects
 Work with the research team to identify optimal ways to collect data (cost and time)
 Create documentation needed to compute costs based on market experience
 Actively search for solutions to reduce data collection cost and timelines for F2F / CATI
 
Team profesionalisation
 Create must-have training materials for any interviewer, supervisor, data quality checker joining the team (manuals, tips and tricks, etc.)
 Create monitoring forms and processes for all F2F operations
 Build assessment forms and certificates for the interviewers
 Update the materials with information regarding new methodologies or techniques as they become available
