QualificationsAny degree with professional qualifications like C.A / I.C.W.A / C.F.A / A.C.S, etc. MBA with specialization in Finance is desirable. ExperienceExperience of 10-12 years of which at least 5-6 years of handling complete financial functions of a company. AttributesExcellent knowledge of accounting and taxation principles, regulatory compliances and administration of financial transactions, financial statements like P&L, balance sheet etc, well versant with accounting module of ERP/Tally, cash flow management, good communication & presentation skills, team player, high ethical principles, computer literateSelf-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance, sufficiently mobile and flexible.Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability, able to get on with others and be a team-player.Duties and Responsibilities1 To manage accounting activities related to general accounting, payroll, financial analysis, banking, credit collection, taxes, treasury including leasing, insurance & cash / fund flows.2Cash flow (in-flow) projections3 Supervision of billing, collections, banking, statutory compliances4Agreements and dispute resolution5 Supervision of costing6Supervision of individual and functional performance7 Internal Audit8Prepare monthly financial/management reports9 Highlight variances to forecasts.10Review and maintain tax records and documentation, including regulatory compliances.11 Review and maintain other statutory reports12Prepare annual financial forecasts and budgets for the following year.13 Manage cash flow.14Liaise with auditors and tax agents15 Oversee development and maintenance of computerised accounting system16To monitor the deployment of finances & provide necessary MIS to support decision making.17 To prepare & submit information reports like periodic fund flow report, expenses statements, billing details, recovery statements, etc. to M.D. to support decision making.18To administer the centralised payroll & arrange to release monthly pay slips.19 To support preparation of MIS Reports to facilitate informed decision making and to review the actual performance of each function as against the budgets20To act as a focal point for consolidation of all the Financial Plan. Also to act as central contact point for all the informationsbeing required by management.21 To ensure maintenance of expense control procedures & policies and their adherence in their respective functions. To evaluate the monthly variance of the actuals with the Plan and coordinate with the Functions to bring in efficiency.22To support the preparation of the strategic plan in an uncertain industry environment23 Interact with the respective functions to ensure financial discipline in those functions to bridge the gap between the finance and non-finance functional line of thinking.24Development, implementation and up-gradation of a comprehensive MIS package for informed decision making with ever increasing needs/requirements from the promoters and senior management and automate the process to ensure timely preparation and fast up-gradation for changes required.25 To initiate and prepare five year rolling strategic plan for the company in line with the shareholder objectives.
