This will be a key role in Finance transformation team of Asia with primary responsibility to drive process improvements by introducing standardization, automation and increased systems utilization. Candidate need to have thorough understanding of business processes and Finance systems.Essential ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and analyze identified process pain points to scope out areas where process/systems changes are to be implemented Exercise subject matter expertise to lead and implement both process and systems changesLead, analyze and evaluate requirements for system solutions and enhancements that improve business processes and/or provide increased controllershipUnderstand GAAP and STAT accounting regulations to align business processes with overall organizational prioritiesDefine detailed functional requirements in a partnership with IT while minimizing the need for system customizationDesired CharacteristicsClear thinking / problem solving successfully led projects/process improvement within operations/finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideasExcellent communication skills experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writingAdaptable/flexible being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situationsIntegrity Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with othersBasic understanding of financial compliance SOX, GAAPExperience working in a matrixed environmentTrained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six SigmaExperience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flowsSelf-starter - ability to work independently & take initiative in day-to-day work environmentStrong interpersonal skillsStrong team player - works well with other business partnersDemonstrated customer service focusStrong organization skills QualificationsBachelor s degree from an accredited four year university/college with a concentration in Finance, IT, or Business5+ years experience with a multi-national corporation in similar roleSubject matter expertise in finance modules of Oracle ERP with solid understanding of available features/ functionalitiesStrong knowledge of functional financial processes & business process flowsDemonstrated analytical , process and problem solving skillsAbility to work with a cross functional team spread across geographiesResults-oriented problem solver with the ability to work well under pressureGood interpersonal skill and a team playerCommunication and leadership skillsQualifications/RequirementsQuality Specific Goals Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/positionComplete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlinesIdentify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
