We support growth and expansion by securing efficient and effective ways of working, including the processes needed to deliver growth and sustainable profitability.We respect IKEA policies and standards and secure financial processes, compliance and legal requirements OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE Your role will involve but not be restricted to Secure compliance with relevant IKEA, IFRS, and GAAP requirements through financial reporting systems, processes and procedures to deliver accurate, timely and complete reports.Be accountable for country-optimised tax position, evaluation of investment decisions, company and capital structure, reviewing financial models and scenario analysis.Ensure cash flow planning, efficient funding and sourcing of financial servicesTogether with the relevant stakeholders analyse and evaluate benefits, costs and investments, describe business cases, support clear and actionable programmes, and secure follow up and learningBe responsible and accountable for developing and maintaining effective routines for the country finance functionBe responsible for all statutory audits and group reportingBe responsible for securing a robust internal financial controls frameworkTogether with the Risk and Compliance Manager, secure a well-functioning governance framework in the country, compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct,internal policies and guidelines and compliance with local legislationFor all the above, ensure coordination and a common approach with all IKEA units in the companyLead and develop co workers and teams, focus on business understanding and secure the IKEA values and culture.Secure an efficient and lean organisation with competent and high-performing teams. Identify and develop talents and secure succession planning JOB SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE & SKILLED REQUIRED Essentials for the roleAbility to work through others, set priorities, delegate responsibility and give open and honest feedback. Ability to work in matrix relationships Ability to adapt to change Professional education in Finance Experience in large international, multicultural organisation Knowledge of IFRS, IND AS Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables Experience in use of automated accounting systems
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
