Own the production and management of project/work stream deliverables and associated project artifacts; scoping documents, project plans, budgets, risks and issues trackers, RACI matrices, stakeholder lists, governance structures, etc.Ensure that planning and execution of projects within the region is aligned with the global programmeIdentify key project risks and manage to resolution or escalate accordinglyManage, lead and develop the regional team of Business Analysts and Project ManagersAssist in budget management, including setting project budgets and monitoring burn ratesEnsure work streams and project deliverables meet the requirements and are of the appropriate quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the Program Plan and program governance arrangementsCoordinate cross business functions (e.g. Operations, Middle Office, Front Office, Technology, Compliance, Tax, Legal, Infrastructure and Finance) and senior management to execute necessary policy, process and technology changeEngage and manage external resources if requiredQualifications Knowledge/ExperienceMinimum of 10 years financial services experienceCiti experience a plusMinimum of 8 years experience in Capital Markets Regulatory, Tax, Client Onboarding or Reporting projectsDemonstrated career progression, including program management (or multiple project management)Credible track record of successfully leading and implementing multi-jurisdiction projects in the financial services industry, preferably with a global investment bankExperience working within a structured program management framework, including production and management of key project artifacts. This should include development and production of concise and professional project status reporting dashboardsProven track record of delivery of major level, multi-streamed programs, operational process change and improvement is essential; knowledge and a technical understanding of securities processing including product, process and system knowledgeExperienced with a global bank's process and operational environment including management and external reportingExperienced in consulting with project stakeholders, including the skills to facilitate compromises and resolve conflicting requirementsStrong consulting and stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and foster internal relationshipsCollecting, defining and documenting business and technology requirementsDemonstrable business analysis experience, including operational process, systems and data analysisExperience in working across technology and business projects and managing inter-dependenciesExperience should ideally involve large scale implementationsSkillsTeam leadership and management; staff development and coachingExcellent project management skills - planning, monitoring and controlling programs and resources. Ideally professionally accredited (e.g. PMP)Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions up to senior levels of management (e.g. Director, MD)Ability to lead strategic planning sessions challenging the status quo where appropriate and drive decision making processAbility to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirementsAbility to manage multiple competing deliverables and prioritize effectivelyAbility to quickly grasp and master new concepts/requirements and related product/functional knowledgeAbility to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiativeExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsHigh-level of proficiency in MS Project and other key MS office applications used to support business analysis and project implementation (e.g. Excel, Word, SharePoint, Access)
