KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAs a part of the Banking Center of excellence the candidate is required to do the following with respect to Trade practiceThis position is responsible for leveraging newgen's BPM expertise and experience in commercial ,SME,MSME lending automation , thereby providing compelling value prop for a to prospective Client.Lead & expand the commercial lending practice in the company to generate more business from the vertical.Demonstrate a successful career in commercial lending solution Consulting ,Research, Implementation & enablement of Presales etc..Position will also be required to use in-depth consulting skills, analytical expertise and domain knowledge with appropriate technology assets for formulating hypotheses and Value proposition that result in the best solution for business objectives. As a consulting Practitioner, resource should work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to develop integrated business and operating strategies that create rapid and sustainable value.Commercial Lending in-depth domain expertise with respect to following productso C & I (Commercial & Institutional lending)o Commercial Real estate Lendingo Small Business Lendingo SME, MSME Lending o Project financeo Equipment financing/Leasingo Mortgage lendingShould have exposure on delivery of Demos & POCs at the CXO/senior management level.Evaluation of the new opportunities and creating value propositions & Demo/POC scripts Ability to understand RFP content and formulate questions in line with the objective ofgathering information required for the solution. Strong skills to draft responses for RFP/RFIAbility to understand client key business drivers, problem areas and is able to articulate to all stakeholdersPartners with the business to evaluate business goals, identify business problems, guide business & technology transformation initiatives and propose appropriate solutions.Thought Leadership by participating with banking audience through blogs, webinars and whitepapersEnabling Presales with required domain expertise to convert the deals.periodic reviews and enablement of the Commercial lending projects delivery.Research & Competitor analysis of Commercial Lending in the market.Define GTM Strategy for Commercial Lending accelerators/solutions.Optimize existing Commercial Lending accelerators and recommend industry best practices.Exceptional leadership skills & exposure of managing a team of 5-8 Functional & technical consultants.Acumen to conduct research to create BRD's with the team to develop new solutions or modules & improve Existing solutions in the area of Lending(banking).Work with the presales/Sales team towards formulating a value prop positioning strategy & to obtain the cost estimates and its benefit %age to the FI.Work with the deal team to formulate a CBA for the value propositionInteract with Senior Management of Newgen to propose how technology can be built in new solutions and how this will enhance the revenue stream.Must to have good presentation ,comm. & convincing skills at the CXO/CRO/senior management level.Lead preparing scope-of-work, and proof-of-concept/demo for the cases in progress.Making functional and technical presentations to the clientsWorking with sales and presales in expanding the Market / Geo / Vertical.Establishing thought leadership by putting consistent effort to build brand, innovative application of our technology, establishing competitive advantage, active contribution through marketing team in social media through blogs, webinars, And White papers etcTravelling to different regions for senior level meetings ,bid defense & initial gap analysis..Preference would be given to the candidates having exposure on the following Commercial Banking in General.Should be able to deliver in tight deadlines.Basel & Dodd frank standards related to lending.Experience on Enterprise Content Management (ECM)/ Business Process Management (BPM) technology/ Enterprise Portal/ ERP.Hands on Experience On retail & commercial Loan Origination & Management Ability to work as a Banking domain expert in the areas of lending .Experience in FI's lending department.Excellent communication & convincing skills.Knowledge of Commercial lending business of US market.implementation experience of any of the following 1. Risk rating engines2. Scoring engines for SME's & MSME's3. Business process reengineering/Improvement4. Workflow applications for LOS.5. Underwriting experience 6. FINACLE7. FLEXCUBE (FCC and FCR), Knowledge of US Compliance regulations OFAC (Office of the Foreign Asset Control),Anti-boycott Law and AML (Anti-money Laundering).In depth Knowledge and experience in handling commercial Lending in UK market.Desired ProfileOverall 8-12 years of experience in BFSI domain.Min. 8-12 years of core experience as a consultant in Trade Finance domain with bank/IT / consulting organization.Should have experience in preparing Use cases & Demo scripts.Confident in stakeholder management, including experience in handling project stakeholders perspective.Good solutioning and presentation skills.Excellent documentation skills.Good understanding of Business, Functional, Data and IT system architectures.Prior experience in IT department of Bank will be added advantage.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
