The ResponsibilitiesPurpose of the Role Why do this job/ role exist, what value does it add?Person is required to play Team Lead - Development permanent resource role in Bankline Direct. Purpose of role is to lead the projects and manage the projects team, thus delivering IT projects in a global delivery environment across Bankline Direct platform. Person has to ensure successful delivery of projects by defining and agreeing specifications and plans, mobilizing and maintaining effective project teams, continuously tracking progress against plans, handling complete P3M project governance especially design to implementation, developing processes to identify & risks as well as associated mitigations. This role reports to Product & Platform Manager, Bankline Direct. Activities What does the jobholder have to do? Lead the Bankline Direct projects (including platforms work towards Hazel projects) in its complete lifecycle - inception to implementation. People Management responsibilities for direct staff platform functional and technical team. Overall Vendor Management and ensuring quality delivery from suppliers in line with the SOW Contractual and Financial Management, including engagement with Supply Chain Services Team,for the suppliers for Bankline Direct projects Infosys & TCS Leading QA and Shared Services Environment/Release Management engagements for the projects and chairing daily project meetings including these teams. Ensuring Platform Stability by working closely with QA and Shared Services horizontal teams. Understanding business and functional requirements with minimal supervision and lead teams to produce system designs (component/application) and robust/re-usable code. Highlighting project risks and issues using tools like PlanView Infrastructure and cross BU technical engagement/alignment SOX compliance for technical deliverables, following P3M Governance Compliance to Change Management standards and prepare implementation artifacts Engaging design governance teams Ensure defect free software by unit-testing modules as per agreed specifications Key deliverables What are the key outcomes and what does the jobholder have to produce (objectives)? Deliver a great experience for business and customers for go-forward agendas in Bankline Direct functional area Effective business connect and communication with stakeholders Own platform strategy and simplification People Management Maintaining risks and controls Collaboration & Team Work - Establish a healthy relationship across teams Impact assessments & Estimates for large / complex projects High quality documentation as required in various stages of life cycle Application, Component & solution designs, contribution in test strategies and implementation strategyScope of Role What decision are the job/ role responsible for? Able to act as Technical team lead in the platform for impacted projects. This role should ensure timely and high quality platforms delivery. Deliver multiple tasks and prioritise based on delivery targets. Taking all Project management related decisions within the platform, working closely with Platform Manager. People and Vendor Management.People Management What are the key responsibilities of the job/ role? Essential Total 9+ years of experience, including 2+ yrs of Project Lead experience in Mainframe Technology. Must have worked end to end in the software development life cycle & have the ability to contribute adequately to all phases like analysis, design, development, testing, implementation etc. Hands-on Experience in design and development of medium to high complexity projects. Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Strong in Risk/Issue/Change Management. Able to work in a multi-cultural, off shore /onsite environment and ability to lead vendor teams Entire project life cycle experience.Desirable People Management Experience Experience of working in global environment of Financial/IT companies spread in various geographies. Payment and Payment Channels knowledge Payments domain knowledge
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA | ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering) | BCA (Computer Application)
