Job Details

Develop, implement and manage an integrated Communications strategy for NBS in India including the Novartis Global Service Center (NGSC) and all other sites in the country. The strategy is based on the NBS business objectives and the global Communications strategy. It includes all areas of Communications for NBS and oversight of GDD Communications in Hyderabad. Develop and implement an integrated Internal Communications strategy for NBS in India, including the local NGSC, in partnership with Global Communications Oversee all site communications targeted to NBS/ NGSC and xDivisional/ functional associates in Hyderabad, including channel and news flow management Plan and execute all NBS employee communications in partnership with the Site Management Board, the NBS Country and NGSC Boards Drive Executive communications for NBS/NGSC leaders and xDivisional/ functional as appropriate Develop external messaging representing NBS and Hyderabad in close collaboration with the Country Communicator in India and the Global Head of Site & Country Communications NBS; this includes oversight of GDD messaging and activities planned externally Provide counsel and thought-leadership on strategic communications plans, messaging and select delivery channels for NBS related projects in India Develop key messages and positioning platforms for NBS/NGSC leadership within the context of NBS, GDD and Group positioning and in compliance with Novartis Group guidelines and policies (brand, communications etc.) Support the development of a customer service culture among all NBS associate populations across all sites in partnership with the Domains and NBS quality of service programs Leverage and localize global customer service communications programs with a focus on the services provided in country Drive customer communications programs based on customer segmentation/ stakeholder mappings to drive understanding and alignment with new operating model at all Indian locations, including the NGSC Participate in local Change events/ platforms, and provide Change Communications plans to contribute to the achievement of the NBS and NGSC business objectives Represent NBS Communications in local Novartis Country Communications boards Create content for local and global publication of news and continuously communicate on local NBS and NGSC services to drive demand and visibility, recognition and alignment Coordinate, collaborate and integrate Communications plans and activities with NBS Global Communications and Group Communications plans, and comply with Company policies Contribute to issue preparedness and management; work with appropriate functions to implement (e.g. local Group Communications and NEM teams, NBS Global Communications & Change Management).
