Develop and manage all financial processes, in line with the business strategy, plans and processes, while ensuring adequate financial controls, discipline, and statutory compliance.Supervise the finance department & directly assist the Managing Director (MD) / Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on all strategic and tactical matters related to Finance, Accounts and the securing of funding.Ongoing analysis of the companys enterprise value and funding requirements and lead associated capital raising efforts including an Initial Public Offering (IPO)Manage and play a lead role in the effort to seek investment from the public financial markets and to launch an initial public offering (IPO) including preparation, execution with merchant bankers, legal advisors, registrars, transaction structuring etcAdvise on Fund Raising through various means and ensure effective management and availability of funds and timely closing and reporting to the managementOversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities, execute capital-raising strategies to support the firm s expansion, and deal with mergers, acquisitions, strategic investors, Venture Funds, JV Partners and Legal / Financial / Technical ConsultantsAdvice theCEO and the Board on strategic issues, corporate planning and provide inputs towards major / critical business decisions in terms of financial viability, current financial position and covenants restricting future strategic decisionsAdvise on appropriate resource allocation, overseeing Treasury Operations and Portfolio Management for the groupTransform the organization and making it a robust & professional company with a competitive edge having very well defined norms of corporate governance.Proactively monitor changes in government regulations and policies, industry, and economy affecting the companys finance and accounting practices, assess the implications and develop / modify procedures and controls to ably respond to the situation.Maximize shareholder value through financial restructuring of the company & benchmarking financial metrics with global competitorsReview procedures relating to the preparation of the company s plans / budgets / forecasts and controls pertaining to key finance activities, monitor adherence to the relevant processes, policies and take timely action in case of deviations.Establish and evaluate internal controls and direct deploy of Delegation of Authority (DoA) in all transactions and monitor adherence to the internal control guidelines and DoA through suitable tracking mechanisms and report deviations to top management.Ensure development of effective taxation strategies and plans, implement and monitor their effectiveness to minimize the tax burdenProvide leadership and coordination in budgeting,MIS, finalization of accounts, project finance, working capital management efforts of the companyDesired Candidate ProfilePro-active, dynamic, ambitious, mature and result oriented Strategic Business Management Professional with experience leading (or being in the second lead position) the finance function of a publicly listed companyCA / CPA/ MBAFinance (from a premier institute) with at least 15-20 years of broad experience in all aspects of Corporate Finance and the entire gamut of Finance & AccountsMust have experience in structuring equity finance, raising private equity capital and taking a company public and specifically rolled out an IPOin excess of Rs.2000 million / 200 croresExperience and knowledge of best practices in financial ethics, independent audits, SEBIcompliance requirements, all generally accepted financial and accounting principles (Indian & Global) like I-GAAP, USGAAP, IFRSand all government and regulatory requirements.Excellent Communication, Leadership, Interpersonal, Team Management, Strategic & Business Vision Skills are a must.Should be flexible to understand the Owner driven organization culture
Degree: CA (Chartered Accountant) | ICWA | MBA/ PGDM
