1. JOB PURPOSETo manage and coordinate activities for business development for DomesticMarket ( India ) to meet sales targets and growth objectives of T.B.G2. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES1. To implement business plans to achieve Pan India targets througha. Defining and implementing a regional strategyb. Ensuring appropriate product mixc. Effective enquiry generation, proposal making, negotiation, orderfinalization and efficient handover to contractsd. Collection of PO and initial advance payment2. Identifying and entering new areas bya. Monitoring competition and designing counter sales strategiesb. Business mappingc. Understanding customer needs and offering optimum solutionsd. Participating in exhibitions and seminars to meet new clients andconsultants3. Using existing systems & processes for gatheringa. Information on new opportunitiesb. Customer needs, complaints and satisfaction levelsc. Market feedbackd. Competitor information (pricing etc)4. Ensuring that the following inputs are given to concerned departmentsfor enhancing customer satisfactiona. Pre and post order activities (order transmittals etc)b. Trends in domestic market and new opportunitiesc. Customer requirementsd. Feedback on performance of Triveni turbinese. Customer complaintsf. Feedback on technology used by competitorsg. Opportunities for after market services and spares /refurbishing business5. Enhancing the visibility of TBG products through participation in TradeFairs, technical seminars, organizing sales meets & publication of productbrochures etc and other marketing initiatives6. Relationship management and networking with key customers/ consultantsfor increasing business through repeat and referral orders7. Setting KRAs for the team and guiding & training them to ensureachievement of sales targets8. Liasioning with external agencies like consultants, OEM s, policymakers (energy regulation commission, CIA, FICCI, NERP) to ensure growth9. Managing administrative activities (expenses, attendance, purchases)for regional offices including disciplinary actions3. KEY RESULT AREAS1. Revenue targets2. Entry into new markets3. Profitability4. Degree: MBA/ PGDM
