1. HR Strategy and Annual Planning and BudgetingLead the formulation of people strategy for the entire group;* Assess business priorities to identify key HR imperatives; * Seek inputs from each of the unit heads / function heads on HR priorities for their respective units / functions;* Identify HR initiatives and prepare overall HR roadmap for the year basis historical data, business requirements and priorities; * Prepare the annual HR budget for the group;* Finalize the roadmap and budget with supervisor; * Identify lead owners for each initiative and estimate broad timelines to implement these initiatives;* Analyses and align skill sets, resource requirements and structure within HR team to fulfill the finalized HR roadmap; * Monitor execution of the roadmap and suggest corrective actions as required; Assess success and effectiveness of the roadmap as per defined metrics inorder to feed into next year's plans; * Conceptualize, develop and implement HR strategy in line with business strategy2. Employee EngagementPropagate the culture of EE; Analyse the current environment, employee engagement levels, policies and practices; Identify the status of engagement drivers at Metro; Evaluate different engagement initiatives and recommend to Head HR; Support / facilitate the creation and implementation of action plans; Review engagement levels periodically; Conduct sessions on awareness of EE for line managers in order to create an engaging environment in the Company.3. Change Management and capability buildingFocuses on frontline staff development and training programs. Schedule and ensure the adherence of the same. Instrumental in finalizing the agencies whocan partner us to drive the interventions for front end staff* Design and implement a systematic. integrated, comprehensive framework which executives can understand what to expect,* how to manage their own personal change, and how to engage the entire organization in the process; * Set, define and communicate targets to the employees. Drive culture change to achieve projected business results Work on vision , mission statements &define values. *Create a new In Store Experience for customers through the front end staff, OD Audit .*To drive Capability building through interventions and eLearning modules. Develop a learning culture4. HR initiatives for Brand Building* Propagate a culture of enhancing internal customer satisfaction within the group, Direct team to conduct employee engagement survey on a periodic basis;* Analyze survey results and review action plans prepared by the team to enhance engagement levels; * Monitor progress against action plans and suggest corrective actions in case of any deviation;* Guide team to develop and standardize HR policies, processes and practices for all group companies; * Monitor execution of all policies and processes and resolve any issues that get escalated;* Institutionalize change management practices in the group and facilitate their acceptance by employees / senior management;*Maintain harmonious relations with store teams and address any grievances of staff that gets escalated;*In case of conflicts, act as an interface for senior management; Monitor compliance to all applicable employment, tax, provident fund, employee state insurance, labor law requirements, etc. in order to build a positive environment, enhance engagement levels and promote a culture of meritocracy in the group.5. People DevelopmentIdentify vacant positions in HR; * Interview shortlisted candidates and finalize candidates;* Set objective goals and evaluate performance of team members; * Recommend for promotions; Coach, mentor and develop the team;* Nominate team members for trainings; * Conduct regular team meetings to guide team on departmental issues and resolve escalated conflicts in order to build a high performing and motivated team.Knowledge/Behavioral SkillsKnowledge of all areas of HR and Admin;Knowledge of industrial and labour laws;Knowledge of HRIS and ERP systems;Knowledge of Organizational development & Change ManagementThe following behavioral competencies are applicableBuilding Strategic PerspectiveEffective ExecutionLeading InnovationFostering Organizational ChangeManaging TalentManaging PartnershipsHigh Impact CommunicationPersonal Effectiveness and Credibility
