Our client, multi national financial services company is seeking to recruit a Head of Consumer Sales-UAE. You will be directly reporting to the VP - Head of UAEPOSITION SUMMARYThis position will be responsible for leading the UAE Consumer Sales Team comprising Platinum Product Consultants and Product Consultants team across the UAE to deliver new consumer card volume (NCA) and targets across all consumer card types.The person selected will be tasked with leading a team of up to 40 headcount to deliver against the UAE 3 year consumer growth plan and beyond. The successful individual will understand the philosophy of 'leader as coach' and will build, train and deploy a highly efficient, effective and driven consumer sales team to increase UAE's share of the Premium segment. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIESBuild, motivate and develop a consumer sales team comprising Premium Product Consultants, Product Consultants and support staff - circa 40 headsDeliver UAE consumer 3 year plan - Strong focus on increasing UAE share of Premium segment - target the right profile customers to acquire them as Charge and Revive customers Ensure consumer sales force training strategy is deployed and all headcount are trained to relevant standards Coach and develop team to ensure 'train and retain' headcount strategy Hold and develop relationships with third party outsourced agency to ensure first class standard of candidatesProvide performance management and sales management across the team by performing monthly reviews and feedback Measure productivity at all levels to ensure right level of activity to deliver targetsBuild TML list and direct team to actively pursue consumer prospects from organizations within TMLAlign with Risk and New account functions to maximize Approval RatesAlign with regional team to ensure best incentive practice to optimise sales behavioursLead business development activities to penetrate new segmentscompanies to increase salesDrive reduction in cost of acquisition and increased productivity, while ensuring the right performance for new customers acquiredPartner with the Regional Consumer team and Risk team to drive and support new initiatives, including product and policy changes, automation of key processes


UNIQUE KNOWLEDGE and SKILLSExcellent Sales Leadership skills (minimum 5 years sales management experience)Proven record of achievement vs consumer sales targets in Financial Services A strong understanding of the Premium segment, how to find it and the products within itStrong leadership skills, consultative selling skills and the ability to act as an interface across the wider company's organization Excellent communication, project and time management skills. A proven ability to drive results Strong financial acumen is essentialAbility to clearly articulate and communicate complex ideas, both verbally and in written form Sound knowledge of the local, regional and geo-political market landscapeHighly competent in sales planning development and successful executionSuperior interpersonal skills coupled with excellent negotiation and presentation skills to influence all levels of the target audience. Planning and Organization The job holder has to establish actionable sales plans for delivering against aggressive consumer growth plans. Heshe will have to plan and organize in the most effective way their TML, consumer pipeline, and team productivity cycle alongside the day to day task list associated with managing a large scale team. PROBLEM SOLVING DECISION MAKINGProblem Solving This position will be the lead role in delivering the UAE consumer plans and will be responsible for solving complex productivity, incentivisation, pipeline, channel issues. Decision Making Role holds responsibility for decisions around TML, local incentivisation, hiring, team segmentation.
