Design and develop programs to meet the training requirement of the various units in the organization across levelsDesign and development of Instructor led coursesDesign and development of online courses, practice labs, assessments and performance based programs.Work with content development team to prioritize projects, identify resource needs and to serve as conduit for escalations to ensure programs are released on time.To establish direction for the team to ensure programs are best in class.Network with industry peers to stay abreast of industry standards and practicesReview training needs and prioritize development efforts.Provide input on proposed courses and certification approaches and ensure alignment to business plans and contentIdentification of cost effective competent vendors and their empanelmentPlanning and end to end roll out of the Assessment /Development CentreDesign and roll out of Individual Development plansIdentification and customization of internal Training programs to address competency gaps for ~ Senior and Leadership ManagementWork with internal and external customers and industry professionals to obtain input and feedback that will help development and administration of effective programs.Indicative ActivitiesCreation of content and management of course catalog.Design and development of Instructor led training programs.Design, development and implementation of assessments and on line tests for business unitsIdentifying and prioritizing of new modules requirements, module modifications requirements from the training team RMs.Design, develop, & implement WBT,CBT as per unit requirements.Collating content for new modules through research or interaction with clientsImproving quality of existing modules based on review with training operations team and quality assessment feedback from training RMs.Ensure monitoring of the activities assigned to vendor staff.Handle escalations/concerns, if any.Development of the team through timely appraisalSetting goals for the team and review to ensure quality and performanceDesired Candidate ProfileMBA(HR) with 6-8 years of post qualification experience in Learning & DevelopmentPreferable Experience in IT/ITES industryDesired Certifications as a trainer for Leadership programsShould have interacted with business functions and business heads on a regular basis.Should have been involved in the execution and implementation of a HR initiative/projects (end to end).Advanced knowledge of MS Office and instructional design toolsExperience in Talent DevelopmentShould have conceptualized and handled end-to-end training programs for talent and leadership development for senior managers and leaders.Passionate about trainingStrong Planning and implementation skillsExcellent relationship building and networking abilities.Ability to work with speed and urgency.High on result orientation.Ability to quickly and accurately identify and analyze informationSound decision making based on systematic logical and rational judgmentsAbility to work independently and effectively under pressure to complete assigned tasks on a timely and accurate basisAbility to influence key stakeholdersWillingness to work staggered hours
