Roles and responsibilities.Diagnosis and resolution of desktop problems for end users..Software/hardware/network troubleshootingAct as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails from end users IT issues and queries. Receiving, logging and managing calls from end users via telephone and email Maintaining an Asset Database and track changes...1st and 2nd line support troubleshooting of IT related problems from in-house software to hardware, such Laptops, PCs and Printers' Troubleshoot basic network issues Escalate unresolved calls to the infrastructure support team Log all calls in the Service Desk Call Logging system Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely mannerTo maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles Provide stats for the weekly Service Desk report on call trendsBasic Active Directory knowledge. Creating user accounts, reset passwords, create groups etc. To arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolvedRequired skillsMatric(Grade 12)Plus 4 years BE degree in the field of computer science Industry certifications, which include A+, N+ Jet king certification. MCTS/MCITP and ITIL foundational certificationMinimum 2 years of experience Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.Exposure to working with international customers. Should be comfortable in communicate with people conversing in British and US English ascents Excellent organizational skillsAble to work in rotational shiftsDesirable skills Exposure to Linux /Unix flavors
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)

Experience: 4-9
