Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesMaintain and support union free environment through accessibility and responsiveness, consistent and equitable application of policies and utilization of open-door policy.Administers local Positive Employee Relations strategy.Assist in HR initiatives SDP (Strategic Development Plan), Skills Assessment, Training and Development, Ethics, COI (Conflict of Interest), Diversity, etc.Responsible for managing day to day Operations employee relations, compensation and progression issues for Operations.Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation etc. and resolve issues and problemsEmployee welfare, safety, wellness and health and counselling is an important area of work for the Human Resources Generalist and involvement in the development and implementation of policy documents and handbooks that can be referred to by employees.Communication with the whole company is generally generated by the Human Resources department and the HR Generalist, you will be a key member of any decision making process regarding employee communication and the originator of any content sent to employees.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.Organized, able to handle multiple tasks at one time, with attention to detail.Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills3-5 years of Assistant HR Generalist experienceOutstanding oral and written communication skillsPrefer high analytical ability to sort and apply informationStrong organizational skills are essential to provide timely administration of assorted dutiesUnderstanding of general human resources policies and proceduresOutstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft, SAP) will be a plusExcellent in Employee Engagement & Grievance handlingWe consider those with a formal HR education; Post-Graduation & Masters would be preferred.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
