Job DescriptionParticipates in the development and implementation of business strategies for the Hotel which are aligned with Brands overall mission, vision, values and strategies1. Develops and implements human resources strategies that support achievement of the Hotel s goals2. Monitors status regularly and adjusts strategies as appropriate 3. Assists in the development of the annual budget in conjunction with the Executive Team4. Supports on-going training , by working with Managers to develop and implement fresh approaches 5. Ensures that key education and training courses are delivered at the Hotel in accordance with Brand standards (ie 100% Guest Satisfaction etc)Desired Candidate ProfileStand-Up and/or One-On-One TrainingSkilled in the use of techniques and strategies required to deliver training material in group and one-on-one settings.Performance Management, Supervisory Demonstrate ability to relate to, communicate with and motive employees to sustain high performance and quality levels.CoachingDevelop and guide others in professional growth and performance enhancement through assuring clarity of goals, employing reflective listening skills and facilitating the generation of options and action planning.Budget Management Still in developing and adhering to department budget.Facilitation SkillsMaximise effectiveness of meetings by using processes and methods (such as brainstorming, coaching, problem-solving and process improvement) to identify meeting goals, encourage participation, minimise disruptive behaviour and keep focused on task.Planning Skilled in determining whether tasks should be attempted, identifying the most effective way of completing the task and preparing how to overcome unexpected difficulties.Meeting ManagementFacilitate effective meetings by clarifying and accomplishing meeting purposes and outcomes, building agendas, identifying expectations, managing time, dealing with differing personal behaviours in information sharing, brainstorming, problem-solving, decision-making and action planning settings
