Overall purpose of roleDelivery of SAP HR Portal related change through development to the production application. Responsibilities includeDesign the SAP HR Portal configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements.Use the business process requirements to drive out application requirements and metricsAssist in defining and reviewing requirements for the applicationValidate the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirementsWork alongside other designers and ABAP developers in completing designsInform the technical architect and Scrum Master/ project manager of any issues that may affect delivery or other areas of the projectParticipate in quality management reviews ensuring the application design and related work products satisfy the requirements Key Accountabilities and Skills requiredKey specific accountabilitiesComplete all appropriate documentation required by the developers, testers, deployment team, and application management team that will maintain the application.For Portal developments produce technical specifications. Ensure all developments follow agreed standards and naming conventionsDelivery of projects or small change (ITHRs) for SAP HR Portal, encompassingRequirements gathering from the clientProduction of functional specificationsAnalysis of requirements and provision of technical advice where necessaryEngagement and sign off from Engineers should the design require itConfiguration of SAP PortalUnit & system testing of changesSupport for UATProvision of detailed transition documentation to the support teamSupport of the deployment of changesAdhering to standard Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes & documentationTake responsibility for implementation of changes to ensure no live incidents associated with the change are raisedStakeholder management and leadership.Engage with senior stakeholders, such as Tech Partners and senior business leaders Decision making and problem solving.Third-level application support for SAP HR Portal, resolving incident and problem records.Provide support and guidance to L1/L2 RTB colleaguesRisk and Control All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards Your Skills and Qualifications will includeAbility to transform customer requirements into a workable design at the functional and/or technical levelsSAP HR Portal experience to includeECC6 and SAP SuccessFactors (preferred)Demonstrable track record of previous work on major ECC6 implementations.Key Expertise inSAP Portal Design and ConfigurationSAP HR ABAP DevelopmentSAP HR modules Including OM, PA, UK Payroll, TimeDemonstrable experience of refining ambiguous business requirements and mapping them to SAP functionality.Gathering functional requirements and mapping to SAP Portal functionality, performing gap analysis. Creating appropriate design documents. Contributing to all aspects of development lifecycle
