Overall purpose of roleo Design security changes based on the strategy and requirements from the HR businesso Participate in the development and production of strategic and high level designs as and when required.o Build and deploy security changes for all relevant SAP components and supporting systems to meet project demandso Ensure that changes relating to data storage and any transfer of data are secure and comply with all the relevant internal and external standards.o Provide implementation support for user changes to meet project demands.o Estimate change costs and timeframeso Engage with internal customers to keep them up to date on progress, risks and issueso Deliver change to a high standardo Work on system and process improvement initiatives for the organisationKey Accountabilities and Skills requiredo Key specific accountabilitieso SAP Security Skills for all NetWeaver components this is a hands on role, with technical leadershipo Ability to communicate with internal customers at all levels.o Ability to prioritise and differentiate demands.o Engagement with key 3rd party suppliers to assist with the delivery of projects/ small change.o Ensure all developments follow agreed standards and naming conventionso Delivery of projects or small change (ITHRs) for SAP HR, encompassingo Requirements gathering from the cliento Production of functional specificationso Analysis of requirements and provision of technical advice where necessaryo Engagement and sign off from other ITHR Engineers should the design require ito Unit & system testing of changeso Support for UATo Provision of detailed transition documentation to the support teamo Support of the deployment of changeso Adhering to standard Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes & documentationo Take responsibility for implementation of changes to ensure no live incidents associated with the change are raised o Stakeholder management and leadership.o Engage with senior stakeholders, such as Tech Partners and senior business leaderso Provide direction and guidance to SAP Security Developerso Decision making and problem solving.o Third-level application support for SAP Security, resolving incident and problem records.o Provide support and guidance to L1/L2 RTB colleagues o Risk and Control All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy StandardsYour Skills and Qualifications will includeo Ability to transform customer requirements into a workable design at the functional and/or technical levelso SAP Security experience to includeo Knowledge / experience with SAP GRC or NetWeaver Identity Managemento Work allocation and ability to guide and coach SAP Security Developerso Key Expertise ino SAP Security including structural authorisations and SAP GRCo Demonstrable experience of refining ambiguous business requirements and mapping them to SAP functionality. o Gathering functional requirements and mapping to SAP Security functionality, performing gap analysis. Creating appropriate design documents. Contributing to all aspects of development lifecycle.
