Working Hours: 12 hrs a day (1 hr lunch break) 7 days a week
Salary: Dhs: 7,000/PM
Leave: 42/21 leave salary with economy class air ticket

Job Details

Work Performed:
• Participates in the implementation of the Safety management programs and conducts site inspections to identify Hazards / risks and suggest control measures / corrective action needs.
• Assist the Fire and Rescue Team in all types of Incidents. Assist the HSSE Engineer for
• providing emergency medical aid and rescue.
• Maintains record of all work carried out and in progress as well as history card for all fire fighting & lifesaving equipment.
• Ensures Companies HSSE regulations are complied with.
• Maintaining inventory of spares for equipment, issuance and record keeping of all safety items and safety gears.
• Assist HSSE Engineer in Budget Trackings. (preparing and follow up of Budget).
• HSE related work assignments.
• Coordinate the Safety training of personnel.
• Work place inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures.


Minimum Requirements:
• Higher Technical Diploma (3 years Technical Diploma in Chemical or Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering).
• 1-2 years Diploma in Fire and Safety Engineering (Desirable NEBOSH Certification).
• Having Valid UAE Driving License - Light
• 6-8 years of experience out of which at leave 5 years practical experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
• Prior experience of conducting safety skills and awareness training programs
• Must have thorough knowledge of international safety standards and procedures.
• Knowledge on Passive and Active Fire Protection Systems.
• Knowledge on working in H25 environment and associated Emergency Response Plans.
• Conversant with the roles and responsibilities of Safety Foreman from all aspects.
• Conversant with all Life Saving Equipment, especially on offshore installations (Ex. Life Jacket, Life Ring).
• Good Command of English (Written & Spoken)& Communication Skills.
• Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and its standards requirement.
• Knowledge on OH &S and other relevant safety regulations and standards.
