Job DescriptionHCC Consultant roleThe HCC HR Consultant is responsible for owning, developing, and driving innovative people-related solutions as part of worldwide deal pursuits, including but not limited toAlternative Labor Strategies/Selectivehiring/job offers only to required employeesHR solutions for deals without people transfer (Renewals, Greenfield, Bestshoring, External Hiring, Incumbent Hiring, Transfer to a Strategic Supplier solutions)Staff transfers for sub suppliers (Mercury Plan B projects)Employee transition transfer of client employees to HP and Partner organizations The HCC HR Consultant advises the pursuit/account team on the proposed HR Solution and oversees all HR activities throughout the sales cycleOpportunity evaluation - assesses HR risks and mitigate those risksDevelop & bid understands clients HR requirements and develops HR solutions that align to client business objectives and HP drivers, such as labor /location strategy, commercial terms and conditions, etc.Negotiate & close provides HR consulting to the deal teams on necessary HR provisions of the contractHR transition prepares the employee on-boarding to HPE (via transition, incumbent hiring, and external recruitment) and/or Partner organizations, with the help of Global HR Operations.The HCC HR Consultant engages various HR colleagues as required for the pursuit Total Rewards, Data Management, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, HR Business Partners and HR Global operations - ensuring the HR solution is consistently applied across regions and country borders.The HCC HR Consultant works closely with all deal team members Business Development, Sales, Bid Managers, Solution Leads, Legal, Finance, and the Delivery organizations (ITO, ABS, and BPS) across all lines of business.Human Capital Consulting TeamThe HCC Team has a global presence with 66 members in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.This position will report to the Director of the HCC Hub and support AMS HP Enterprise Services business opportunities. Position will be based on an HPE site in Bangalore, India.The principle job activities of the HR Consultant role are as follows HR Solutioning for outsourcing opportunities and special purpose vehicles - Advises Pursuit Teams on the HR handling of outsourcing deals primarily in the renewals, add-on, extensions, or small outsourcing deal space. Key solutioning components include HR solution, resourcing, consultation and employee relations requirements (global deals), HR costing, transition and transformation methodology, work location strategy, talent acquisition (new hires), redeployment, global mobility issues pertaining to deals, etc. This consulting is provided to clients and HP deal teams alike utilizing a consulting framework, methodology, and mindset. HR SME Expertise A solid working knowledge of HR areas such as staffing, compensation and benefits, learning and development, management of change, employee relations, and HR Operations is very useful. Not all functional areas are a requirement but time spent in an HR function would be beneficial for this role.Pursuit Team Engagement - As a member of the Pursuit team, assesses the clients HR requirements, advises the pursuit team on the people impact of the technical and business solution, and develops HPEs proposed HR solution. The HR consultant creates HPEs people care approach and builds the HR story for the impacted employees. HPE/Outsourcing - A general working knowledge of HPE Enterprise Services and/or the Outsourcing business is useful when aligning HR solution to the business requirements of clients. Business Acumen uses knowledge of financial concepts and principles to develop technical and financial HR solutions that align to overall business for new pursuits, renewals, run-out, reverse transitions, and people exits on existing business. Translates HR issues, challenges, and options in business terms that clients and HP deal/account teams can understand. HR Sales Documentation - Serves as the primary source for HR-related sales responses, IDIQs/RFIs/RFPs, etc. Provides detailed responses including HR-related questions for transfer, exit, and T&T as part of HPs commercial response. HR Costing/Financial Analysis develops the HR cost models and underlying elements of the costing such as transition costs, employee Ts&Cs, benefit harmonization, severance, recruitment, mobility, past and future pension liabilities, etc. Development and utilization of internal HPE & HCC network Develops and uses internal business network as appropriate to provide HR solutions that align to commercial, legal, and financial deal considerations, both inside the wider HR and Sales communities. Candidates must be able to create and foster, where none exist, strong relationship building skills across HR, business teams, and other partner teams.
