We are seeking to recruit a wastewater Modeller to be based from our Bangalore office, working within our established network Modelling team. In addition to the Modelling, you will be required to input in report writing and desktop studies. To be considered, we are seeking candidates with the following credentialsMinimum Academic Qualifications First degree in an appropriate analytical subject (e.g. Civil Engineering, Hydroinformatics, Water Management). Desirable Qualifications Second degree in an appropriate subject. Chartered status (or working towards it) with ICE or CIWEM.Essential Experience Experience in 1D/2D wastewater network modelling (e.g. experience in Infoworks CS, Infoworks ICM, WinDES,1D/2D modelling). Excellent communication and analytical skills. Good report writing skills. Skills in GIS (MapInfo or ArcGIS).Desirable Experience Minimum of 3 years in wastewater network modelling. Experience in model building, calibration, validation, TSR/SCADA analysis, optioneering. Experience of network modelling studies related to the UK. Awareness of the commercial aspects of project delivery.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReporting to a Senior Modeller, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of project-related tasks to meet budget, time-frame and quality targets, meeting or exceeding client expectations, promoting and marketing all facets of arcadis services during interfaces with clients and other sectors and disciplines, and contributing towards the achievement of the divisional business plan. Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to Resolving technical modelling issues on projects. Carrying out technical reviews of hydraulic models. Managing components of projects, taking responsibility for own resource and potentially resource allocation of others, managing subcontractors, quality assurance. Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design. Providing technical input to projects. Ensuring compliance in the components of the project for which you have responsibility, including drawings, reports, specifications and studies. Gaining experience in commercial aspects of projects relating to projects for which responsible. Liaising with the Project Director or Manager and sub-contractors. Providing input to project team, leading by example to achieve sector goals and championing a quality, innovation. Assisting and participating in developing yourself and other team members to their full potential. Gaining experience of and being familiar and compliant with, relevant UK H & S regulations and promoting a culture of awareness within the team.
