Key specific accountabilities and time split.80% of Assignment- Deliver Application ChangeDeliver changes as per timelines agreed with delivery managerDevelop and test developments on HFM (Webforms, Metadata, Rules,..), Essbase and reporting tool (FRS, Smartview)Perform peer review of developmentWork with Operational support team to understand the requirements and assess associated effort to requested changesMaintain Hyperion artefacts, baselines (version control) and documentation as per the existing control frameworkProactively engage with operational support team to provide guidance on the use of the product or best practice when considered necessaryProactively look for any potential performance degradation following the introduction of a new change and flag the risk accordingly to delivery managerProduce deliverables (Incident Resolution, Root Cause, Incident Reports or Service Order documentation) to the required standard of quality and within the constraints of time and service levels)20% of Assignment Production SupportLiaise with Hyperion Support L1/L2 team to assist in incidents resolution as per the agreed SLA and incident severityPick up incidents raised against the consolidation system (especially Essbase) that are assigned 3rd line support and work as a point of escalation for business support Skills/CompetenciesProactively look for design issues and system performance degradation on existing system and propose improvement option if knownExperienced in Incident, Problem and Service Order management in a 2nd/3rd Line Support Environment.Must have an significant experience of having maintained an HFM system (Webform, Rule, Metadata)Must have an sound knowledge of Essbase and the reporting tools like Financial Reporting Studio and SmartviewTakes a structured and effective approach towards work and demonstrates using Hyperion best practices.Able to analyse, diagnose, design, plan, execute and evaluate work to time, cost and service targets, exhibiting the application of available methods, procedures, tools, equipment and standards associated with own area of specializationExcellent customer service and communication skills are essential to discuss HFM and other Hyperion functionalities with Finance analysts and end-users.Takes customer requirements fully into account and consider the end-to-end impact of the solution when making proposals and/or carrying out work.Able to efficiently complete documentation required by the incident and change processesAble to work extended hours when needed at peak times, and to carry out some ad-hoc incident resolution out of hours for critical issues.Needs to be able to bring some best practices that can be used to enhance the Hyperion Operations & Support capability within RBB COO. Knowledge and ExpertiseExcellent, proven Support skills and expertiseIndividual should have at least 5 years development experience on the following Oracle/Hyperion products Hyperion HFM, specifically Webforms, Metadata, Rules (VBScript) build & maintenance,Essbase (Maxl, Data and dimension Load rule, calculation script, report)Good knowledge of Hyperion Financial ReportGood knowledge of Excel VBAExpertise in gathering, understanding incident background, mapping and recreating incidents, and translating root cause into a workable solutionBasic understanding of the financial principles of consolidated group accounts Experience in Hyperion Shared Services (HSS)Experience in Financial ServicesHolistic appreciation of a project life cycleFamiliar with concept of version control and the use of tools of the like of Rational Clearcase, Git, SubVersionStakeholder management and leadership.Selected candidate must be able toProven ability to demonstrate strong stakeholder management/delivery to the business.Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.Effectively managing self and team workload Decision making and problem solving.Forward planning with a proactive approach to situations.Ability to multi-task in a highly pressurised support environment.Ability to gain knowledge from colleagues and train others to grow within the team.Strong Team player able to manage their own workload and good vertical reporting skills to Senior Management.Strong leadership and organisation skills with proven ability to be able to manage other people s workload and ensure all deliverables are met.Self-Starter and well-motivated to deliver in a Highly Pressurised Support EnvironmentBeing able to assist in Problem solving and root cause identification.
