Support Know Your Customer teams in the area of Systems and Business Analysis with specific focus onProduction and Business Support Act as Subject Matter ExpertSupport Production management activities which includes monitoring risks, handling Investigation on KYC system and impact analysisAssist in building process efficiencies and identifying automation compatible functionsTesting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Test Planning, Scenario Review & ExecutionEnd to end documentation & Defect ManagementRequirements Change ManagementAnalysis of business requirement and solutions provided by TechnologyInitiate change request process resulting from change in policies and processesJob Background/contextThe KYC Business Support Unit (BSU) is an Anti-Money Laundering/KYC support and control function within the Institutional Clients Group responsible for the preparation, development, due diligence and approval of the electronic Know Your Customer (KYC) record in partnership with Coverage and Compliance teams.Key Responsibilities Production and Business SupportAssist in Building Process efficiencies and identifying automation compatible functions to meet deliverables for timely processing of recordsSupport as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the region on various application functionalities & featuresAnalyse Production Incidents and identify Impact analysis through criticality & volumesTriage Incidents with Technology teams for prioritization of fixesSupport in creating process documentation, gap analysis, data mapping, process and workflows for continuous process improvement.TestingAssist UAT team in developing Test scenario s & Test cases for UAT execution for scheduled releasesAssist Business and operations in reviewing and signing off the UAT test casesExecute UAT for changes proposed for KYC systems within given timelines. Perform UAT on smaller scale deliveries like Production Incidents, Hot Fixes, Data PatchesCo-ordinate testing activities across teams of Business Users, Vendor UAT teams & Technology teamsMonitor release test plans, statistics, reports for management. Ensure successful tracking, resolution and prioritization of defects raised for all Releases Know How of ALM /HPQC application to raise & track Defects. Generate Reports from HPQCMaintain a repository for end to end documentation of testing exercise.Ensure project risks and issues are identified & mitigated accordingly by performing root cause analysis in timely mannerRequirementsChange ManagementParticipate in calls with Technology and Business partners to understand the business requirements and solution provided by themTranslate business / operational requirements into Changes RequestsReview Functional Requirement Document (FRD) & Scoping Items for Operational ImpactsStakeholder ManagementLiaise with Business Support, Technology Support Teams, BSU, Hubs and Satellite teams across the globeParticipate in meetings with stakeholders and conduct functionality walkthrough sessions with Operations Users. SME support through participation in Huddles with Location BSU staffDevelopmental valueOpportunity to interact with Senior Management, Coverage, Compliance, Re-engineering, Technology, Business Solution teams within the organizationGain an in-depth understanding of KYC processes by participating in various Technology calls and UAT exercisesDevelopment of inter-personal/soft skills through stakeholder management in a matrix organizationOpportunity to work in a dynamic changing environment Qualifications Person SpecificationKnowledge/ExperienceGraduates or Post Graduates majoring in Business & Systems analysis/ IT /Computer Science. Exposure to Banking is a plus.6-8 years experience as a UAT Test Lead & Test executionKnowledge of KYC/AML process or application knowledge of any KYC systemKnowledge of Factiva, Google Search or any Name Screening application is an advantageExperience with large programs/projects in a global company is an advantageKnowledge of SDLC methodologyExperience in managing Testing activity as a part of Project ManagementSkillsAttention to DetailStrong Analytical SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong experience of using defect management tools e.g. HP Quality Centre, ALMExcellent interpersonal skillsIndependent thinkerStrong ability in use of Microsoft Applications ( Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio)Qualifications Certification in Business Analysis or Testing will be an added advantageCompetenciesProblem SolvingWork under pressureAnalysis/JudgmentAdaptability/FlexibilityValues diversity and demonstrates an appreciation of a diverse workforce
