Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally. o Leadership o Responsible for leading, developing and motivating team of Support Team Leaders, Individual Contributors, and Support the team staff against the achievement of service targets and standards. o Professional/technical experience o The role holder will have significant experience in delivering high quality client service management. In addition knowledge of the market place and current issues is preferred. A detailed knowledge of products/services available to clients will be essential. The role holder will have spent a high proportion of their career within financial services and will have a thorough understanding and appreciation of the need to operate to high risk and regulatory standards. o Managerial experience o The candidate should have proven successful leadership experience in a front line managerial role. o Key specific accountabilities. o Manage the Pune RTB Teams and their activities to provide top quality application support across Treasury & CFT applications, supporting 100s of users and downstream consumers, in batch, real-time, intra-day and end of Day operations. This includes direct line management of support teams in Pune o To make sure support and response to Business or user queries are within standard guidelines and handle all the escalations from all stakeholders of the projects o Act as the APAC regional lead for Treasury & CFT RTB, engaging with the wider Functions technology community for upcoming applications transition, Functions Transformation and BCM events. o Maintain excellent relationships and communication with global stakeholders, other IT teams, and business areas, including the production of Stability Metrics (incident, change, capacity, SLAs, infrastructure). o Assist the Global RTB Lead in driving process improvements and strategies, including toolsets, automation, lean production, and continuous service improvement. o Develop SME (Subject Matter Expertise) knowledge in Treasury and CFT applications, proactively learning the environment. o Provide management oversight of audit reviews with internal and external auditors, tracking and responding to audit requirements. o Uphold policies, procedures and standards, acting as a champion to communicate and enforce the policies to effectively manage Risk & Control. o Stakeholder management and leadership. o Candidate should be capable to interact with senior stakeholders from Treasury Operations teams and Treasury Senior Management. o Ensure right level of information (service management, Application Issue investigation reports, Problem Management reporting etc) provided to stakeholders with proper reviews within team. o Leadership qualities required to ensure right support provided to team members and manage all MIH issues without escalations. Also should be good in handling people/team conflicts. o Decision making and problem solving. o Ability to understand the business context and respond to users is more important over the in-depth technology skills o Ability to work under pressure, work on multiple tasks simultaneously and continue to support users and applications o Service oriented and able to follow the processes in delivering the KPIs o Risk and Control o All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards Your Skills and Qualifications will include o Education o Science/Engineering Degree (Graduation). o Experience Required o At least 10+ years' experience supporting applications in a global environment supporting critical production systems preferably in an Investment Bank o IT Skills o Operating Systems [Windows 2003\2008, Unix / LINUX ] o Scripting (Unix & PERL) o Databases [ MS SQL & ORACLE] o Autosys Scheduler, MQ Messaging o Service Now o Knowledge on Linux Administration is an added advantage but not mandatory. o UAT/Production deployment knowledge especially in Linux environments. (Most of people know only windows client based deployments.) o Basic knowledge on configuring DB connections, deploying objects. o Good knowledge on investigating workflow, session logs for day to day analysis. o System Performance Monitoring. o Project Management & People Management. o Banking Governance & Control Standards
