Candidate will be part of the Natural Resources Cluster team. They will be part of sector team and will focus on driving the opportunities in C&P which will leverage their deep "industry" and SAP implementation experience in delivery matter also.Applies expert knowledge of IBM high-value services and offerings in Industrial Products sectors such as Metals, Minerals, Mines, Cement, Construction etc.Mandatory knowledge and skill in the following areas Metals/Mining, Chemicals or Petroleum Industry. ERP, Data Analytics/Data Mining tools & Solutions for process industry/Cloud based delivery solutions.Client engagement, Opportunity Qualification, Develop Value proposition for services sales.Atleast had 2 large deals success in last 4 years.Past experience in Leading cross skill / domain team for proposal development.This is a Consulting leadership role and involves identifying client business issues, building strong relationships with senior management of client, conceptualising solution ,solutioning validation along with service line delivery teams, presenting solution to clients, and managing client and project P/L during project delivery phase. Building strong and consistent opportunity pipeline working with IBM client relationship team, end-to-end bid management processes with support from cross functional teams. What youll do Define sales strategy and drive revenue growthOne of the key tasks for the individual will be to provide sales leadership to the organization to aggressively expand the IBM professional services business and solidify IBM-GBS presence in West. S/he will need todevelop, implement and administer the short-term as well as long-term business strategy, identify market opportunities and develop a compelling set of propositions to help drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. Selling into the India West market place will be the primary focus of the role and the individual will need to ensure that the right solutions, right resources and business plans are in place to win this business.Effectively manage client relationshipsYou will be required to play a key role in maintaining and developing client relationships at the CXO level and leading the sales and delivery of large deals with clients. S/he would need to bring the necessary gravitas and energy in leading the business development efforts of the company. S/he will be expected to play an active role in building domain and functional credibility with key external customers by demonstrating industry depth, articulating IBM GBS value proposition, and creating comfort and confidence in the company s capabilities. S/he will also be entrusted with the important task to nurture, grow and further develop a portfolio of long-term customer relationships in the domain, resulting in repeat business. High degree of customer centricity would be critical in continuing to grow existing accounts as well as for winning new customers.Collaboration & Influencing Readily accepts and uses expertise and input from others.
