Generic requirementsMinimum 10 years professional Java software development. Proven ability to design and develop complex integrations, self starter. Proven dedication to continued learning, e.g. by working with latest technology in spare time (Scala, NoSQL, etc.)Specific requirementsMinimal 5 years experience with installing, administering and/or scripting interaction with middleware (Java (WAS / WLS / JBoss / Glassfish) & .NET (IIS) ) required. Experienced in Java, experience with scripting language (Python preferred, Perl / Bash).Sound knowledge of Unix command line, like using vi editor, configuring security, installing/removing software packages using command line is required Experience with CI tooling (Jenkins / Hudson / Bamboo / TFS) and build automation required.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop technical integrations between XL products and middleware the XL products are interacting with. This includes - Java middleware (WAS / WLS / JBoss / Glassfish / Tomcat) - .NET middleware (Windows / IIS / BizTalk) - CI tools (Jenkins / Bamboo / TFS) - cloud vendors (Amazon / Azure / VMWare) - SaaS platforms (ServiceNow) Create and maintain automated tests for middleware integration. Work with the 1st and 2nd line support teams to process support tickets regarding technical integrations, troubleshoot the issues with the customer and create workarounds and/or bug fixes. Update customer support forum or product documentation.
