JOB SUMMARYResponsible for planning, directing and coordinating all IT operations.Responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies.Responsible for ensuring support to IT department in terms of asset and vendor management, SLA monitoring, audits, purchases, recruitment and training of IT team(s) and creation and monitoring of IT policies.4. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESBusinessEnsure working of all systems in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirementsChalk out or improve operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organizational well-beingCater to Business concernsContribute towards the achievement of company's strategic and operational objectivesCustomerAdherence to client (internal) deliverables timelinesOversee training needs for internal teams (IT) are met in coordination with HRResponsible for providing timely response to requests of users (within IT department) for assistance and ensure accurate and friendly response to these needs, in order to facilitate high level of customer service to usersInternal ProcessOversee purchase of materials, inventory planning and ensure warehouse efficiencyExamine financial data/statements and utilize them to improve profitabilityPerform quality controls and monitor production KPI'sMonitor SLAs for different software with corresponding vendorsOversee user management for all software.Oversee management of IT assets and corresponding vendors.Monitor creation of new IT policies and implementation of the sameOversee IT audits, RBI audits and ensure that the gaps identified during the audits are addressedOversee Contracts & License managementEnsure that recruitment and training needs for the IT department are fulfilled by IT Ops in coordination with HREnsure appraisals are managed properly within IT in coordination with HRMonitor documentation of manuals, presentations and updates related to IT departmentMonitor and ensure facilities for different activities in IT departmentLearning & PerformanceEnsure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for selfEnsure goal-setting, midyear -review and annual appraisal process happens within specified timelines for self5.
