Participate in planning and managing service changes efficiently and effectively and also work on reduction of the Major incident and IncidentsManage risks relating to new, changed or retired servicesSuccessfully deploy service releases into supported environmentsSet correct expectations on the performance and use of new or changed servicesEnsure that service changes create the expected business valueProvide good-quality knowledge and information about services and service assets.Other responsibilities are Review and verify implementation planEnsure readiness of resources as part of the release scheduleMonitor changes during the execution (backout, cancellation, Major Incident trigger)Perform Actual release (MTP) implementation tasksEngage on Post-implementation Reviews QualificationsEducation and Experience Required Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years related experience or a Master s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.Knowledge and Skills Required Advanced verbal, written communication skillsStrong problem solving, priority setting and collaboration skillsPossess creative ability, consulting skills, leadership qualities, credibility and self confidenceGood organizational and analytical skillsAbility to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutionsDemonstrated ability to work with geographically dispersed teamsDemonstrates fundamental understanding of information management systems and infrastructureCaptures, implements, adapts and improves project strategies and processes to achieve project outcomesExhibits a high level of initiative and integrityDemonstrated influencing skills, high level of technical and team leadership skillsExperience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) preferred (Capacity, Problem, Change processes)Service Administration within HPUX, Windows, and Linux systems.Preferences Experience in scripting and / or programming languageExperience working with multiple operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, ZOS, JCL)Experience with infrastructure environments (e.g. operating system, hardware, data center, security, network, voice, database, end user and server / web related applications)Experience with business Information Technology (IT) applications (e.g. supply chain, customer relationship mgmt, Human Resources (HR), finance, others)Experience with implementation and problem analysis of infrastructure and business application environmentsCollaborate closely with other team members to ensure the cost-effective execution of responsibilities, alignment with goals and compliance with quality standards
Degree: ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering) | B.Sc. (Science)
