Its about attracting visitors to the stores, encouraging IKEA store visitors to stay longer and enjoy more, making it fun for everyone, offering great food with quality at the lowest prices, giving visitors a tasty reason to return again and again, and providing co-workers with a chance to rest and re-charge.To ensure the full potential of IKEA Food is realised, the following 10 tasks must be fulfilled1. Attract visitors to the IKEA store2. Offer a range that appeals to the many people on the market3. Strengthen the low-price profile of the IKEA store4. Strengthen the quality perception of the IKEA store5. Contribute to a day out for the whole family6. Strengthen the Swedish profile of the IKEA store7. Build trust for the IKEA store among customers, co-workers and suppliers8. Ensure that IKEA co-workers get a good meal for a low price9. Serve the many store visitors10. Be efficient and generate a reasonable profitBy doing this, IKEA Food supports the IKEA store in selling more IKEA home furnishing productsResponsibilities- Ensuring the operations of all food areas in the IKEA store operate in accordance with IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements and other relevant legislation. You promote a safety first culture where co-workers are encouraged to raise and discuss concerns and solutions.- Securing an irresistible food offer by ensuring we secure quality at all times as well as an appealing range presentation.- Utilizing everyday commercial opportunities to grow sales and profitability.- Ensuring that our guests are always in focus, having a daily dialogue with our guests, learning from and acting on their feedback.- Ensuring the kitchen area is well maintained and that daily work routines are in place and followed in all daily work.- Empower and encouragethe team to take immediate action to meet the needs of guests and give input on how to continuously improve our meeting with them- Activley contribute together with the IKEA food teamin the development and implementation of a clear IKEA Food action plan for the store using the store business plan and country business plan.Essential Requirements- You have an advanced knowledge of food production and food safety and have experience of working in a vibrant retail environment and food service business.- Your passion for ensuring the food served is of a high quality is clear for everyone to see and you transfer this passion to your co-workers and colleagues.- You have experience of and enjoy leading and developing a team.- You are used to creating and executing action plans and are good at prioritizing and organizing your work and the work of others.- You know that the food business is a people business and are motivated in making people perform, deliver, learn and develop through a strong sense of togetherness.- Experience of working with large volumesDesirable Requirements- Experience of working in vibrant retail environment- Experience of managing/leading and developing a team- Advanced knowledge of food production and food safety- Experience from food service business, retail/food service environment- Previous expereince of Managing large food kitchen columes- Good english communitaion skills- Ability to gather detailed insight and build long term action plans
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
