The Lead Analyst Data Loss Prevention is a member of GE s Data Protection team. The individual will be responsible for performing end to end data loss prevention reviews and partner with functional stakeholders including IT, HR, Legal and Security Investigations. The individual will also design solutions to ensure the security of GE data and intellectual property. Additionally, this role will support the forensics team by assisting with forensic collections in the Asia Pacific Region.Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform data loss prevention analysis and managing the end to end review process seamlessly with the various stakeholders globally across multiple functionsEffectively communicate to global non-technical audiences a cohesive story and the impact of plausible data loss events in clear non-technical termsPerform advanced analytics to identify specific data loss events and design creative and innovative solutions to ensure the security of GE's data and intellectual propertyWork with functional stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into functional requirements and partner with the technical team to test and implement robust, secure and compliant data loss detection capabilitiesEstablish and maintain key loss metrics, analyzing loss data to identify trends and design solutions to prevent data loss events and support the global programContinuously drive to understand, document, and improve data loss prevention processesMaintain effective relationships across a distributed functional and global team across the enterpriseUpon request assist with forensic data collection under the guidance of the Corporate Forensics teamQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree in information technology, or related disciplineMinimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology such as forensics, incident response, operations, application development and infrastructureDesired CharacteristicsFor internal GE candidates, Information Technology Leadership Program graduateExperience in data loss prevention, forensic, incident response, security, compliance, audit Experience in security operations, data analytics, forensic analysis, fraud detection, cyber intelligenceEffective communicator with technical and non-technical communities at all levels of the organizationAbility to influence and build strong relationships with peers and senior managers in various geographical locationsStrong analytical, planning and organizational skills to manage multiple areas effectively
Degree: M.Com. (Commerce) | M.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | M.Sc. (Science) | MA (Arts) | MBA/ PGDM | MCA/ PGDCA

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)

Experience: 5-10
