The Lead Performance Services Engineer will work closely with FRO teams, Projects & Services, Product Line Leaders, & component / systems engineers to coordinate test monitoring, assess business risk, & develop corrective actions. They will execute performance tests globally, understand industry standards / trends, interact with customers & performance testing consultants that they hire, & contribute to developing new tools & capabilities that improve testing accuracy & productivity.In addition you will Ensure customer performance testing of wind turbines is being performed per the terms of the purchase agreement with GE Evaluate the turbine performance and develop a commercial risk assessment of potential performance shortfalls Identify performance shortfall contributors, develop potential solutions, and execute corrective actions Manage Customer and Third Party relationships while measuring and improving the performance of wind turbines at customer sites Coordinate resources needed to monitor customer sponsored performance tests globally through its lifecycle Provide detailed site performance risk evaluations to support the development of customer specific strategies Develop and execute customer/site specific corrective action plans as needed to mitigate business risk resulting from performance shortfalls Be responsible for maintaining critical skills necessary for cost effective evaluation of wind turbine performance at customer sitesQualifications/Requirements Masters/Bachelors in Engineering in mechanical, civil, aerospace, from an accredited college or university Minimum of 5+ years of professional technical post-graduate experience Minimum of 3+ years of technical experience in wind turbine or equivalent power generation businessesDesired Characteristics Strong project management skills and a track record of functioning effectively in matrix organizations and across functional boundaries Ability to deal with multiple issues across time zones Ability to communicate directly with the customer while providing the necessary support to meet contractual obligations Ability to understand complex engineering issues, remote technical operations, and financial impact of warranty issues on the P&L Understanding of financial models for performance and warranty costs Six Sigma training or quality certification Familiarity with GE products, process, and organization Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Degree: ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)

Experience: 5-8
