Key Requirement for the PositionExperience in Product Management in Life / Non Life / Standalone health insurance industry. Some sales exposure will be preferred. Need a person who can work across function with assertiveness and focus on executionJob Description Manage the New Product Development (NPD) process thru a well defined stage gate process Develop bank of Innovative Product ideas validated through Market Research / Workshops Rigorous Market segment analysis, Customer need analysis. The position requires involvement in Market research projects , working closely with Consumer Insights and Market research agencies such writing research briefs, stimulus, take part in sample field interviews Manage the rigorous process of IRDA Filing documentation End end project management for Go To Market involving system changes, Trg module development, Website interface, marketing collaterals etc etc Interface with Actuarial, U/W, Claims, legal & compliance for all Product development issues Analysing current and Future trends of Products in the Indian Insurance markets in terms of demo graphics, technology, service delivery Validate all Product Value propositions before the start of Product development such as meeting various vendors, Outsourced telecalling centres etc as an example Branch visits to interact with Agents, Banca partners, Direct teams, Brokers to do specific Focus groups as well as Feedback on current Products Portfolio Management at the Company level, analysing the Interplay between various Products, product variants with Channels etc. Managing Product Life Cycle through all 4 stages Introduction, Growth, Maturity, Decline Prioritizing the Projects for New Product Development. Writing all New Product Business cases Guiding product communications with sharply defined and differentiated value propositions that connect with customers for relevance. Sign off product communication launch briefing process in the GTM Portfolio Maintenance Making amendments in current Products. The person needs to engage with all stakeholders and get all changes validated and complete Product Filing as per IRDA requirements Competitive Update Publish competition update every quarter, closely analysing the Competitor Products, Channels, business nos. . Competitive Update - Create Product Library of all Competition Products with details such as fulfilment kits, Policy wordings, Brochures Portfolio analysis Claims, Channels, Productivity, benchmarking with Competitors
Degree: MBA/ PGDM

Additional Degree: BA (Arts) | B.Com. (Commerce) | B.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | B.Plan. (Planning) | B.Sc. (Science) | BBA/ BBM/ BBS | BCA (Computer Application) | Diploma-Other Diploma | B.Ed. (Education) | BHM (Hotel Management)
