Encourage adoption of good SW engineering practices in the scrum teams and ensure teams track & use critical Agile metrics to continuously improve quality of software delivered Facilitate effective program / release / sprint execution, backlog readiness & forward planning for upcoming program increments by bringing together all stakeholders such as Architects, Product Owners, Functional teams across sub-systems & partners Own and Resolve the SW team related dependencies / impediments by working with the right stake holder to facilitate the scrum teams in SW development Highlight program risks, impediments & dependencies to leadership team in order to facilitate mitigation Work with Agile coaches to establish agile practices across program teams & facilitate agile ceremonies, guide the transition to and implementation of SAFe Represent the software group in program reviews and effectively manage / escalate priority conflicts to enable making right trade-off decisions Will work closely with other LPIs cross functionally and with 2P and 3P application vendors to share their road maps to MR Stake holders and visa-versa Ensuring that the product development process abides to the business Engineering Quality Procedures, Phased Review Discipline and regulatory needs of the applicable markets Coordinate Technical design reviews Establish Software build rhythm, Software release and design transfer activities, Software branching and merging strategies Drive growth of functional and domain expertise within the team & facilitate cross functional initiatives in process improvements, tools and standardization Establish intermediate milestones, and report out to program and functional leaders on status, identify and drive technical/material resources issues to closureQualifications/Requirements Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program deliverables Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiativesDesired CharacteristicsBachelors Degree in Engineering with minimum 7 years of software design & development experience working with cross-functional teams in an industry environment.Experience in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle in an industry environment.Demonstrated ability to build lasting cross-functional relationships, including strong influential and communication skillsKnowledge of Agile methodology of execution, planning release trains and managing scrum teamsDemonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycleFamiliarity with industry software development practices, tools and environments a. Software development life cycle from requirements to system integration.b. Configuration Management systems Concepts and tools ClearCase, Perforce or equivalentc. Defect tracking tools and processes Concepts and tools Clear-Quest or equivalentd. Software Builds Concepts and tools imake/make or equivalent.e. Continuous Integration tools such as Electric Commander, Jenkins or equivalentAlso preferred qualifications areDemonstrated experience with SAFe methodologies & leading multiple scrum teamsExperience in working with distributed teams and knowledge of multiple Agile Frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, XP & SAFeDemonstrated experience with design history fileCreative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issuesDemonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/programKnowledge of GE Healthcare engineering tools and processes (such as QMS)Attention to detail and ability work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments & develop unique concepts/solutions for complex productsStrong verbal/written communication and influencing skills
Degree: ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)
