Designation Learning ConsultantReporting to Senior Manager Learning & DevelopmentLocation Chennai JOB SUMMARYThe Learning Consultant is responsible for identifying the learning needs of individuals across roles and service lines, based on discussions with the Leadership & Management teams and interactions with participants. Work with the L&D team to design, facilitate & evaluate blended learning solutions to cater to individuals based on the learning needs raised. Develop and implement the learning and development strategy for the organization in line with management competencies. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Engage with stakeholders to drive the cultural shift towards continuous, self-learning teams Evaluate business units overall learning requirements, business objectives, desired results, and constraints; conduct skill assessments to identify specific training needs Working with functional leaders and managers to identify training needs and trends within the functions Engage with stakeholders to best support regional learning & development needs Design & deliver learning solutions for employees that support the development of competencies required by the business across different levels in the organization Ensure effective communication plans and channels to ensure awareness of training and development initiatives across all business units and locations Facilitate training for employees across locations (through WebExor facetoface) Work closely with business to ensure that trainings have business impact Gather feedback around training programs, identify metrics to measure effectiveness of the programs and implement changes based on metrics and feedback Work collaboratively with Learning & Development colleagues globally in developing and delivering programmes Coach internal facilitators to ensure Learning & Development initiatives are delivered to professional standards Collaborate with external learning consultants to address specific business needs in the technical domain Leverage industry best practices Experience5+ years of experience in designing and facilitating learning solutions in a corporate environment DESIRED PROFILE Must be a self-starter / self-motivator Articulate, well spoken with demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build strong relationship & engagement with stakeholders Strong classroom training skills; remote training delivery expertise will be an advantage Excellent communication skills and a responsive attitude are key characteristics for the successful candidate Should be versatile and creative in training delivery Vendor Management collaborated with Training consultants (companies/ free lancers) to cater to specific business needs Should maintain and adhere to data confidentiality and possess high level of integrity Strong Planning and execution skills Should be flexible in traveling across India for delivery of trainingTravel 25% across key offices in IndiaWork Timings 8 hours work shiftSkills Required Experience of designing and delivering a variety of training solutions Experience of partnering with third parties Strong verbal, written and presentation skills High level attention to detail and superior follow through Strong stakeholder engagement & influencing skills Behavioral Competencies Communication Excellence Ownership and Initiative Quality Orientation Customer Service Orientation People Management Team Work Spirit
