JOB SUMMARYLead Generation - Identify quality leads from existing customer base /open market by conducting various events and activitiesAssessment of leads - Evaluate the leads generated by analyzing credit histories & property evaluation by adhering to internal and external regulationsAcquire new Housing Loans (HL) Secured home loans customers from open market / cross sell to existing customersMonitor installment payments and collections of customersDeepen relationship with the existing customers by cross-selling Ujjivan's products as per the profile & need of the customersPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESBusinessAchieve the set targets on HL-Secured Loans in terms of open market acquisition and existing customer conversionMaintain database of prospects, meet select prospects and manage the relationship thereafterFollow up on leads provided by call centre/ liabilities team within defined TATCross sell other products of Ujjivan and pass quality leads to respective officers/staffShare customer insights/product related feedback with the Cluster Manager SecuredCoordinate with Products & Marketing department to carry out marketing drives that are assigned and catchment areas for HL secured loansCustomerInteract with customers in a courteous and professional manner; provide prompt, efficient and accurate services and establish professional relationship with them, with a long term perspectiveConduct the appraisal process of potential customers in a courteous manner without compromising qualityGuarantee confidential treatment of all the information gathered from customers and demonstrate the highest order of integrity as per the code of conduct of the organizationInternal ProcessCarry out the pre and post-loan activities related to HL Secured loans, perform financial analysis, property evaluation, analysis of credit history and present the loan applications to the sanctioning committee by adhering to the set TAT & prioritize the repayment of loans to preserve the portfolio qualityVisit customer's property for evaluation and interview, following the "Operations Manual" procedures. Analyze and evaluate the loan applications to find eligibility fit, establish the risks, evaluate the family situation and stability, determine the capacity of repayment and arrive at adequate loan amount for the customer's needsCoordinate with the credit department in case of identifying discrepancies or problems in customer's information, reports, etc. through Cluster Manager Secured loansInform the customer about the Credit Committee decisionFile completion & direct it to FCU/RCU for necessary checksCoordinate with Liabilities team if applicable, to ensure bank accounts are opened/activated to disburse the loan amount and necessary standing instructions to repay monthly disbursementsPerform loan utilization check and follow up on the disbursed loans, periodically monitor the loans of those customers not paying on timeIn case of overdue, visit customers for loan recovery and coordinate with collections officer to update the status periodicallyLearning & PerformanceMaintain up to date knowledge of HL-secured products as well as working knowledge of other products offered in the branchInform Cluster Manager Secured loans about the demand in his/her assigned area as well as on the competition on a regular basisEnsure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for selfEnsure goal setting, mid-year review and performance appraisal processes are completed within specified timelinesRole RequirementsDesired QualificationGraduate, preferably in commerce and related streamsDesired ExperiencePreferred experience of 2-4 years in, housing loans or other asset products in sales or collectionFUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS(Knowledge and skills needed for satisfactory performance of the job)Knowledge on housing loans- Secured loans/asset products and third party productsBasic Computer knowledge (MS Office, Outlook) / Ease of technology usage (tablet)Sales and marketing skills across multiple productsKYC norms/guidelines for secured loansCredit Assessment/AppraisalCommunication Skills - fluent in the local language & EnglishBEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIESTime managementCustomer relations managementAchievement/performance orientedPossesses good interpersonal skillsDocumentation skillsWillingness to travel & relocation as per business requirements and career opportunities
