Job DescriptionIT Desktop Support BangaloreThe Desktop Support Technician is primarily responsible for the installation and connectivity of computer desktops, phones and other user equipment. This includes installing, configuring and supporting all desktop software applications, computer peripherals such as keyboards, mice and monitors, printers, etc. Additional responsibilities include asset management, gathering information and performing troubleshooting of device issues and working through the help desk ticket system to communicate with departmental customers.ResponsibilitiesInstall, upgrade, support and troubleshoot, Windows 7 and Microsoft Office and any otherauthorized desktop applicationInstall, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipmentPerform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipmentPerform repairs on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipmentProvide phone support to clients and provide friendly customer service to internal and external customers. Responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting and restoring to service any terminal service client, personal computers (PC) or notebooks that has authorized access to thenetworkWhen the restoration is beyond the scope of the computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment the Desktop Support Administrator will escalate the issue/problem to proper internal employee or third party vendor.RequirementsThis position requires native speaking and written English Must have Bachelors degree in Computer Science 2+ years of experience with customer service, providing remote technical support. 2+ year Remote Desktop support experience (Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Mac) Ability to provide high level of customer service, problem resolution, and support for external and internal customers Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with ability to handle customer concerns over telephone or through personal contact. Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize and complete work assignments. Ability to handle a wide variety of customer service situations. Ability and willingness to work outside of normal and traditional hours. Microsoft certifications are a plus but not required.
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)
