Responsible for handling and growing sales through alliance partners and channels for Modern Trade BusinessManage and be the main point of contact for all alliance partnersProactively pursue adding new targeted alliance partners and new business opportunities in the geographic areas, service and/or product area or markets per the organizational business planAggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training and support.Overall client management, project management and quality assurance of the Alliance ProgramResponsible for maintaining and leveraging the sound relationship with Sales teams to facilitate business through channels for them.Responsible to maintain and grow a partner account, by creating a robust business plan, creating a strategy and executing on it, ensuring regular senior level connect and strong organization mapping, enable more competency building and work on a Joint go to market with partners.Work with all personnel and outside contacts to satisfy partners, clients and achieve company goalsIdentify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutionsWork with Alliance partners in development of annual business plansMaintain a physical presence in the field to reinforce the account strategy, in-store execution and identify high performersNegotiate contracts, up-sell, cross-sell, and build customer rapportCreate and be accountable for all prospect proposals, contracts and any further documentation, following company proceduresMaintain a database of all Modern Trade outlets (administrative, commercial, business details)Post- sales support and program management of partner programs including lead generation for the sales teams through acquiring partner relationshipsDesired Candidate ProfileMBA with 4 to 6 years of experience with Channel / Alliance Partners within Modern Trade highly preferredProven success in sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales processAbility to build proposals and statements of work, and to develop, review and successfully negotiate contractual agreementsKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resourcesAbility to oversee a team of support and project management resources for each accountStrong client and relationship management skills and ability to execute on sales strategy.Confidence in presenting technical and company data to clients and colleagues in a variety of mediums.Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions.A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities.Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail.Ability to cope with competing demands and prioritize tasks.Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone and presentation.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Capable of working independently, and having responsibilities as an individual.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
