Commercial Compliance job responsibilities include, but are not limited to Interact with employees at all levels and potential business partners in order to obtain information required to conduct third party due diligence reviews. Conduct due diligence reviews on potential business partners and acquisition targets aligned with internal guidelines. Evaluate the risk of corruption in business practices to determine priority areas for policies, communication, training and auditing. Advise management regarding the requisite steps to bridge the gaps (i.e. by trainings/refresher course). Monitor local laws and recommend changes to internal guidelines, policies, procedures and training programs as appropriate. Periodically review internal controls, company policies, systems and procedures applicable to the region. If found non-existent or deficient, implement remedial action to mitigate risk of non-compliance with policy or applicable law. Develop and manage training program, including conducting training for colleagues and proposed business partners. Receive information from employees or others about potential violations of law or ADM s policies with respect to the conduct of its business and ensure that such complaints are investigated promptly and concluded in line with internal guidelines and procedures. Any other responsibilities, as may be considered necessary to support and advise management on ADM s standards of business conduct. Regulatory compliance issues like filing of permits, certifications, etc., as per business needs, including but not limited to labour, food, environmental, safety and health, etc. Position requirements Qualified lawyer Three - six years of relevant work experience. This may include corporate compliance and ethics department or other comparable experience of monitoring compliance or enforcing rules and regulations in a multinational company. Must be fluent in English and Hindi. Must be able to travel throughout region and internationally and work non-standard hours due to time zone differences. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
