To support the bid qualification process for new opportunities.Participate in pre bid, post bid meetings & contract negotiations with customers as per the need.Preparing and reviewing commercial proposals/offers, particularly in respect to payment terms, warranty obligations, delivery obligations, commercial/legal terms and conditions.Risk management in terms of self-contained legal and/or commercial review, annotation, preparation, coordination and negotiation of domestic and international contracts.Check credit worthiness of potential customers and proposing suitable mitigation of financial risk (e.g. Payment security).To manage inputs involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery.Maintain commercial contract responsibility during the project execution phase (eg. Change orders, claims etc).Preparing, monitoring & securing project wise costs (budget versus actuals) and supporting project management to mitigate cost overruns.Monitoring planned payment receipts (budget versus actuals) and supporting project management in expediting payment (or other countermeasures).Support in obtaining the necessary internal approvals in accordance with internal guidelines and policies.Ensure compliance with export control guidelines by the responsible sales managerPreparation of monthly commercial project reporting for management review.Key Skill RequiredCommercial background, broad experience with commercial contract negotiations, including financing, tax and insurance issues.Basic understanding of Indian Contracts act , Taxation , Negotiable instruments like LC, BG etc.Ability to work alongwith subject experts to get necessary support.Sound knowledge of Financial & Risk AnalysisStrategic and proactive thinkingStrong Self initiativeAbility to work in cross functional teams in an international environment.Good Presentation SkillsEffective Communication and Time Management SkillsAbility to perform precisely under pressureReporting RelationshipThe position reports to Head of Function with solid line and to the CFO with dotted line.Will be closely working together with commercial and technical sales units and the management in India and Europe.KeywordsSales, Business Development BD, Marketing
